I've almost been watching bare knuckle from the beginning.And I absolutely find it more entertaining and real than a lot of the other mainstream circuits. Luke Rockhold's natural weightclass is light heavy and perry smashed him. MVP is a natural middleweight and clearly bigger than perry too. BKFC just has less big name fighters to make equal weight matchups.

I can't wait until movement based fighters, tenchnicians and less exciting/dynamic fighters destroys the excitement in bare knuckle boxing. This is always how competitive games are. The start is incredible because of how many unknowns there are and the lack of optimization creates a ton of space for self expression. The moment people start optimizing, this excitement will die down and get replaced by something else entirely and I can't help but be excited for it.

Bare knuckle will grow because honestly you have to be hardcore to enjoy BJJ and wrestling. It’s just not stuff that’s entertaining to the untrained human eye. Bare knuckle + leg kicks would be so legit. Someone will come up with that and promote it correctly. There are very few BJJ artists that become super popular. I know it's still early in his career but i think Robelis Despaigne could move to BKFC after Acosta killed his hype and gave everyone in MMA the Blueprint on how to beat him. BKFC is still raw,not many technical fighters, obviously no wrestling as well so a really tall and long dude with some scary power and not much else would do really well there
