While this movie was mostly filmed in Wilmington, North Carolina, it was also filmed in Delco, NC. All of the scenes where they are in the school were filmed at a now closed middle/high school where both of my parents graduated from. The baseball scene at the beginning of the film used to actually be a baseball field back in the day and both my uncle and my dad played baseball there in the late 1970's. I can also see my old house and my mom's cousin's house in the background during the baseball scene. This film was fantastic and all of the actors were amazing, I highly recommend this movie!

The young actors in this brilliant film were the standouts. Mason Thames reminds of of a combination of a young Tom Holland, a young Heath Ledger and a young River Phoenix. Thames has the good looks and stoic charm that will take him places in the future. Madeleine Mcgraw reminds me of a young Angelina Jolie with her combination of grace, strength and dramatic acting skills that will take her places in the future. I wish them both much happiness and success.

Mason Thames is turning out to be a very goodlooking young man. He's gotten tall with sparkly eyes and his hair and bone structure are beautiful. Madeleine McGraw has also gotten beautiful with a beautiful smile and sparkly eyes.

@@liamgannon9474 15/16 you won't recognize him. They tried de ageing the kids in I.T part 2 and they did a horrendous job of it. That was only a couple years between the last movie. when you add in the 6 weeks of production, plus the time to edit and refine the movie for distribution, then you have to promote it, I guess that's three? Maybe 4 years in total? That is the issue with young actors between these times. A lot can change in those growing up parts of a person's life. One minute you look like a little puppy. The next minute your voice is broken and you are growing stubble. It's a crazy time. This is why I thought they should have used cutting room floor material and flashbacks from the original in the second movie for continuity purposes.

This is the horror film of the summer not nope this was unsettling that is the only way to describe it- Ethan was incredible as were these kids too. Ethan made my spine chill with his performance and the valiant effort of these kids made me revel, without giving too much away, in their effort to overcome this awful villain. Great film.
