Yeah, a good Carbon steel wok costs like $20 - $40 for a large one from an Asian grocer or many places online and the basic Carbon Steel woks are the best.
@benjam0n4 жыл бұрын
Best investment I ever made in my kitchen was getting a wok.
@Muritaipet4 жыл бұрын
@MaZEEZaM Totally agree carbon steel woks are best. But for anyone reading this. If you get a good carbon steel wok make sure you season it. Oil it, heat it, even oven bake it for a few hours. Do the same process over and over again in the first few months, especially after you wash it. That gives you the the black non stick coating.

Pro tip: Put your pancakes on a wire rack instead of a plate while you make the rest. The pancakes will still be steaming when they come off the pan, so it stops the bottom ones going soggy.

It really pisses me off when men have nicer hair than me LOL
@GrowingDownUnder4 жыл бұрын
that's because some girls just bleach their hair, straighten their hair, put products in their hair and the secret is just leave your hair alone and look after your hair. Bleaching and dying hair causes a lot of damage. Washing your hair too often can damage it, straightening hair damages it. For really long hair like this you can wash it like once a week if you have dry hair or every 2nd / 3rd day. Then just wear a shower cap every other day you have a shower and aren't washing it. It helps if you have dry hair to use some type of serum that puts shine & oils back into the hair.
@blahkjboubblah98564 жыл бұрын
@@GrowingDownUnder Fuck I didn't expect a novel hahaha but yes I suppose women as a whole do tend to play around with their hair more. But in my case I actually have very fine hair, born with it, so I just keep it short.
@SheyD784 жыл бұрын
My hair was always to thin and wispy to hang like that, but his is actually a bit longer and straighter than I wanted. These days I'd be happy just to have my own hair back. Should shave whats left off but I hate shaving.

I don't use cornstarch when I make blueberry sauce (or blackberry sauce, or raspberry sauce, or grape sauce, or whatever berry sauce). I let the sauce simmer until it thickens. But it's your show and you can make the sauce any way you want. I noticed you omitted the cornstarch in your list of ingredients displayed on the pancake, so that's a good thing. You don't need it. Lime juice and lime zest are good alternatives to lemon juice and lemon zest. I love your videos. You are my new culinary inspiration.

Another suggestion for something to do with fruit... Get yourself some citrus fruits (lemon, lime, grapefruit, orange, whatever the hell you like) and some shrimp/prawns (whatever you like). Make ceviche. It sounds risky because it's not "cooked". But it's good.

Love it 👊🏼, quick question why add Vinegar when making the mix ?
@DaniBauerTHEGoddess4 жыл бұрын
It gives it a very slight tart flavor that balances against the sweetness of the blueberries, or any other sweetness that you top them with. In the Southern US we use buttermilk. The vinegar thing is just a hack if you've run out and don't want to go to the store. Lol I'm scrolling through the comments trying to see if anyone else has mentioned it and if it's an equal exchange.
