@@Kilallfemales Yes, that was the opinion of medieval theologians by the 15th century. They considered a baby only infused with a soul after about the first trimester, unsurprisingly where most nations still put round about the cut off date for normal abortion. Pregnancy is the becoming of a clump of cell into a human being. That is what breaks anti abortionists brain. It does not fit into neat drawers. It is messy. Within the scope it should be the choice of the person who has to live with either decision for the rest of their lives and not some mansplaining or judging assholes at the sidelines with absolutely no stakes in either the mother or the baby and in most cases not giving a shit about good child or health care.

Wanna hear some unfortunate news? The "shut that whole thing down" quote was a reference to a VERY REAL statement made by former Republican US-rep Todd Akin. Thankfully, he's not saying anything anymore, he passed in 2021. Laddio is this universe's version of Robin The Boy Wonder, who was Batman's sidekick. As mentioned earlier, Webweaver was trying to get the sidekick gig for Tek Knight. In some Marvel/DC crossovers Spider-man was teamed up with Batman too, so this might be a nod to that. Poor Hughie, he is a good soldier but even this is too much for him. Now I really have to wonder how "Kessler's" persona shredded Ezekiel. And does "Becca" have any abilities too?

1:25 *cat 36:04 Sorry dad(dy)? lol 44:20 It's what I suspect too. He has some parallels with Maeve, but his sins go deeper because he did not really care for the longest time while she just got bitter. He just now realizes what it feels to actually be a hero, instead of just pretending to be one. So with that in mind, I feel he's gonna go out saving someone, without the last ditch rescue we had with Maeve. 45:50 Chekhov's gun for sure. 46:00 Tek Knight in the comics apparently is more of a Batman & Iron Man crossover. It was not in the show due to budget reasons but he has basically this metal high tech suit which is closer to that of Iron Man than Batman - including the ability to fly with it.

Blood vessels in the area allow for easier introduction of the drug into the blood stream. Quicker than taking a pill the traditional way; I imagine less fraught than rooting around for a vein in the arm or thigh, and poking it with a needle. "Why is A-Train becoming one of my favorite characters?" I think we're all seeing him becoming a decent person. I am there for it too. "Please don't be a sex room" That's all of us thinking exactly the same thing and knowing it's going to be a sex room. Firecracker is every self-identified "concerned parent" ranting in school board meetings about the Deep State systematically "indoctrinating our kids." She's driven by a deep feeling of insecurity and powerlessness against a world that's hurt her. And all this posturing and rage-baiting and cozying up to powerful assholes is her way to cope, to get back at all the wrong enemies.

Neumans speech was maybe one of the boldest things that have been said in modern TV, since in the end its not about fiction but whats actually going on. And then take this into account : What Is Corporate Fascism? Is the US Government a Fascist Form of Government? "Fascism should rightly be called corporatism, as it is the merger of corporate and government power." - Benito Mussolini (speaking of corporate fascism) One of the easiest ways to identify fascism is by the actions of the government. Whether it is the Chief Executive, the Congress, or the Judicial branch of government, when government takes actions to protect the power of corporations, this is a step towards fascism.

Neuman nailed it when she mentioned about the fragility of democracy and the founding fathers were after a Republic of armed citizens not to mention the Corporate lobbies that influence the masses through various mediums for control appeasement and entertainment Just like the Romans using breads circuses and Colosseums the same old tactics……

I kind of agree with the sentiment of what you're saying. But the corporatism of Mussolini is not the same thing we call corporatism today. Mussolini divided society into sectors he called corporations. These are not companies. All business was one corporation. All trade unions were a corporation. These different sectors or 'corporations' were beholden to the state. The state had the ultimate say on everything and everything was to make the state stronger. This is the opposite of America where the state is beholden to businesses. Everything the state does is to make big business stronger. If something won't increase profit it doesn't get done. Whereas if a business stepped out of line with Mussolini or the interests of the state he'd brutally crush them. I am incredibly scared that fascism is on the rise. I think this is in part because people don't recognise it anymore.

@@edmann1820 facism is already here. The current administration is using the justice department to crush political opponents. If Biden is reelected, I expect to see the justice department to again go after political opponents in 2028. Remember Obama used the justice department to spy on political opponents and no one said anything.

So Tek Knight is this worlds version of Batman, the guy in the red was his previous "Robin" But he stopped playing ball and thats why there was an opening for a new sidekick, which is what Webweaver was going for. And Webweaver is this world's version of Spiderman, and his safe word, the thing he loves the most is Zendaya, which is reference to irl Spiderman current actor is dating Zendaya, the current MJ actor.

It's WILD the journey we've gone with A-Train, literally being the person that started all this shit, to being happy for him that he's finally being a hero. It really feels like he's going to die now because this show never lets us be happy, but I'm glad he at least made the journey.

The music they played while they were in the Tek cave was fun to me and I loved it. One was by the group 10CC, '"The Things We Do for Love" and another was "Baker Street" by Gerry Rafferty. Baker Street is where Sherlock Holmes lived, I forgot the complete address. When they sneak in stuff like this, I pay attention.

So far, I could still say I think everything is going according to Sage's plan. I think she knew kimiko and mm would show up there, and she knew she would get shot, and that would force Neuman to step up and also sabotage Homelander a little more. Sage has quickly become one of my favorite characters in this show.

Thanks for not overreacting to human milk. I don't know why so many Americans think Human milk is disgusting. When my wife breastfed in the 80s, so many people urged her to immediately stop. Nurses in the hospital tried TWICE to give her shots in the hospital to stop the lactating before she got home. .I remember mentioning this in the break room and an otherwise nice woman in the art department lobbied for me to go home and tell my wife to stop. I asked her why it meant so much to her and she stormed out.

31:26 "Oh, rough pull". Seriously? 🤣🤣🤣 You should be writing for this show...bloody Diabolical.😁👍 32:04 I so want to give Kimiko a big hug in this episode (and also some other things, the details of which we needn't delve into here).😻 32:48 Every time you think "Ok, this is as weird as it gets" or "This is as violent as it gets", they top it. Here's a brilliant example of the former. 35:09 There it is! We all knew it by now, but it was still a well-done revelation from Butcher's perspective. 36:00 No argument here. I'm a straight guy and I still made a Negan music video for "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred (who, sadly, would be on The Home Team in this show).
