Anthony Starr's portrayal of the sociopathic Homelander is an early contender for next year's Emmys. Karl Urban's equally deranged character Billy Butcher was one of the other highlights. Many people have already mentioned it on here, but the airplane scene really is phenomenal. This is one of the best tv shows that I have seen in years.

Love your analysis, and, if you notice, their backstories as shown in the last episodes are quite parallel. Both had tough mentors who were basically using them and manipulating. And in Butcher's case, he literally later on becomes exactly that.

I absolutely did not care about any of them dying. 50% of the scenes did nothing to build the world or move the plot forward., and every single character sounded like Seth Rogen. They spent more time on the idiot fish guy and his misadventures with lobsters than they did with main characters like the black guy that's supposed to be an integral part of the Boys (can't even remember his name). They literally showed the fish guy getting fingered through his chest, and they didn't show the scene where Homelander finds out the "real truth". @srinjoykar72364 жыл бұрын
@@gabrielcabello9227 Joker isn't a vile man His methods were wrong but he did a lot good stuffs 1) Brought the money laundering of mobs to light of the police by robbing a mob bank 2) Systematically eliminating mobsters 3) Removing Corrupt judges , officers , law makers and psychopath officials like Harvey Dent 4) Last but not the least killing Rachael ( who I shouldn't say but she was a gold digger). Srinjoy Kar You can say that and that’s a fair point but he still committed several crimes and his overall premise is a twisted character. I love Eric Kripke as a storyteller - he deserves way more credit, for showing the regular person with other people to defeat those with supernatural power. They underestimate people without power, but they soon learn to FEAR those regular people. They persevere because of their love and commitment to each other, and certainly deal with a lot of shit with each other. Also recognizes that just having superpowers doesn't make you evil, just like just having powers doesn't make you deserve praise. That's all over Supernatural Seasons 1-5 as well.
