Mike, still the goat of guitar lessons! Haven't tried playing this one yet, but I've heard it before. She does an interesting cover of Rexs Blues. Btw, yes I also prefer the looser feel of strings when fingerpicking. I switched from PB 12s to Martin Retros and it made a huge difference.

yes! i just went over to Retros on my acoustic and dig em. But downtuning is the way to go, regardless of string brand

@MikesMusicMethod I like downtuning also but haven't tried it yet with the retros. They're so much lighter and looser already. I'll try it out, thanks!

My honey gives me crap for not learning songs of female writers, but I find them harder to sing -- a copout maybe. Thanks for this one. Let you know how it goes after studying your basic picking vids. See you in a year or three.
