Here’s the deal…to everyone saying “hey he’s having fun just let him do it” …..it’s distracting as hell or else we ALL wouldn’t be having this discussion. Is anyone talking about the other fantastic players? No. Everyone is distracted by “Mr-selfish-face”. I’m almost Positive that the staff and everyone feels this same way but no one will because he’s the “bosses” son. I feel bad because yes he’s having fun, great…but so it in a way that makes the group look unified. This group is playing fantastic but all anyone can talk about is “Mr-happy-ass-face”. Great job distracting from this talented group.

Who the fuck cares? It doesn’t at all change the score at all from the judges perspective. He is just having fun. I would 100% agree with you if he was making weird poses that could hurt the score but he’s not. Should ugly or gross looking people not be able to march either? Cause that is definitely distracting as well. The Cadets will always have the same reputation whether some dude looks silly while playing or not. I also personally like it because it’s make the audience think that they enjoy what they are doing, like what color guard almost always does. For my last indoor show my director made us smile during the show to make it seem like we enjoyed doing it. And of course the judge tape always complimented us on it.
