My children are all right behind each other. 19,18& 17. I’m an empty nester now and i miss when they were little. I homeschooled them and it’s strange going from with them all the time to such a quiet house. But it’s been such a joy to see them blossom into adulthood! My oldest married his amazing wife right after high school and are about to give me my 2nd grandbaby in the spring❤ I was always playing referee between my boys and now they’re roommates 😊 I love seeing their relationship as adults. My youngest is a missionary in the Philippines this season, please keep her in prayer. Enjoy your momma season while you can❤it goes by fast!

I have 4 dogs and 3 cats. I love them, but I also love a clean house. I clean for about 2 hours every day. Just a normal clean for all rooms, but I pick one a day to do a heavy clean. I have 4 spare bedrooms that aren't used, so they don't need cleaned until company leaves. Luckily, I enjoy cleaning. For windows I use a soapy rag and a squeedgie and finish with a dry towel. You can't even tell there is glass there.

My husband and I went to Italy a few years ago and I absolutely loved it! We spent our 20th wedding anniversary in Europe this summer. World travel is amazing , but it felt just as good coming home! I don’t recommend using fragrance boosters in your laundry. It leaves a waxy buildup behind. Yay, on finally getting your stove! I can’t imagine being without one as long as you have! 😊

I started setting timers 15 minutes and I was amazed when I got done in 15 minutes! Usually would get done before the timer went off! I like you when my babies were little I was always on a schedule with them. Now that I am a grandma, I take the time with my grandchildren, loving on them letting them have fun in My Home and not be so crazy about it because when they leave, I can pick up and clean then. I especially love ..,truly, little fingerprints on my front door lol and I will usually leave that upfor a while because I enjoy seeing them. Thank you for this wonderful video and a reminder to enjoy each day and each moment.

Loved this video, but I love all your videos, you always have a message or encouragement I need to hear! As far as the robot vacuums I have used and loved the iRobot’s and the roborock. They vacuum so great!!! But if you get one that vacuums and mops, I suggest getting the ones that are very expensive with the large water reservoirs. I got the one that “mops” and it uses very little water and doesn’t do the best job. It just slides around with some water on a microfiber cloth. The other ones do a much better job mopping, but they both do incredibly good at vacuuming!

So good to see you home! My husband and I recently retired to a lake home with lots of sand and dust. I have a Cavachon who sheds white magic fibers everywhere. I bought a Shark robot vacuum and it has saved my mental health. I spent around 400 dollars but it is SO worth it. It sucks up sand, dirt and dog hair! I make my bed as soon as my feet hit the floor! I cannot stand my bed being unmade! Great advice on a cleaning schedule or lack of! Spot cleaning is a great way to keep things clean and tidy. I tended to clean the whole house in a day or 2 before I hired my cleaning lady for the first time! I was 8.5 months pregnant with my third child, when I hired my first cleaning lady! I so love your house…the layout is just perfect! I use Norwex, as well…love the window cloths! Cindi (from WV). 😊

For the past few months, we’ve been having a blast with a board game called Lost Cities. The strategy it takes to win this game is always changing. Also, simple math for kids to really become familiar with their numbers. The games go by quickly and it is only a 2 person game. This is even a game for adults. Never a dull moment.

I am very big into a rotation. I rotate rooms. I do not keep track of when I clean anything. I just move to the next thing on my rotation. I have two families with young children in my family who do not need the pressure of household deadlines on top of everything else. Just take up where you leave off. I will add that families do need to keep the laundry and kitchen cleanup as an ongoing task. One thing I recently heard that I never considered before is that your first step each day on kitchen and laundry needs to be putting clean things away. Most of us put it off to last, and that is where we get bottlenecked. And frustrated.

We are a big board game family, my kids are now pre-teen/teenagers so our games have changed. Our favorites when they were younger were slapzie, sequence, jurassic park life, ticket to ride. Now it's clue, monopoly, added in there but we always go back to our favs.
