Those USB-C ports work for Thunderbolt 3 devices, which is great for UAD Apollo users. Makes that audio interface useful in a live music situation. Great stuff for music people. The CPU is beefy enough to run a 64 sample buffer and still run plenty of plugins inside your DAW or Gig Performer or whatever and get sub 6ms latency. Its rad. For 300 bucks, its definitely worth it. Also tested it with a 20v battery and it works fine. Only really draws about 40-60 watts.

Stick a 4TB drive in it and turn in it into a portable emulation box/computer you can use away from home. More than enough power to play anything up to Xbone/PS4 era games so it'll be good at emulating/playing stuff that's older.

I'm afraid that this was a tough watch. Way too much waffle and so needs to have a tighter focus. Considering the fact that anything plugged into the front USB ports will make the look, as you described it, nasty, then the comments regarding the USB-C port placement sounded rather embarrassing.
