For years, my uncle was in charge of the child protection unit of our local police force (for his safety, I can't say which one). I firmly believe that once a paedophile is convicted, they shouldn't be able to walk the streets again. Once they've served their prison sentence, they should be sent to a secure unit in the middle of nowhere. Prison does nothing to deter them. 99.9% of them are totally incapable of stopping themselves.

My brother was a heroin addict at this time he was arrested for supplying heroin, he certainly never had enough of the drug to stop himself being ill let alone sell to others!!
