I’m Michigan, a ton of the dispensary owners, and thus, employees as well, are Chaldean. I grew up working in a grow facility, my advice: do not smoke that shit. Filled with nutes and due to a lack of environmental control, the buds were filled with powdered mildew. The real issue with the chinese growers is the effect they have on the market . They drive prices down in general for top notch craft growers . Since they are able to aquire incredibly cheap labor and some grow ops actually produce very solid work . especially bag appeal wise , they also have problem undercutting everyone which constantly drives down prices for producers . eventually this drives a lot of good people out the game . They have almost completely stopped growing plats at this juncture , and have been switched over to gelato/runtz crosses you know the true za lmao . just saw some super gelato and some candy runtz didn't even have to look at the work to know it's Asian lol .

Depends on how you get them low. Labor regulations are there to protect workers and taxes are there to fund local infrastructure and services like roads, schools, food assistance for poor people etc. Legal growers have to pay to have their crop inspected to ensure they are not spraying or using dangerous chemicals on the crops. Triads/cartels/gangs don’t have to do that.
