I think anyone who has ever loved someone maybe a little too long can understand this song. I couldn't stop crying. At 2:42 when they are singing face to face, you almost think they are going to kiss, then the music stops and she backs away. Greatest song EVER!

Such a beautiful song. Anyway, just a different angle to consider regarding their duo's break-up. True, they have tremendous chemistry when singing. But I don't think the reason behind the break-up is that, er, romantic (a love that must end because they're both married to someone else). Joy's husband is, if I remember correctly, part of their team, as a manager of sorts.So there lies the imbalance. Joy and her husband could have the upper hand when settling on a decision, since both of them are directly involved with the duo. Whereas there's only John to fend for himself. He might have gotten tired of this set-up, that's why he just 'disappeared', which led to their disbandment. *shrugs
