To be fair, it's actually a pretty decent gimmick... when used defensively. You build up some meter on enemies while at a distance, then bap them a few times with your knife if they engage. Not exactly a gimmick I'd charge into the enemies with, however. Even with guaranteed critical hits, Sniper is... well... let's just say 125 health isn't exactly all that sturdy in this game.

One potential change I would suggest for this Cleaner's Carbine and a Knife and Medic combination, is to use a Quick Fix Ubercharge, because that knockback immunity denies Pyros and explosive knockback so hard.

Dude, you should totally get another sniper buddy or two and have everyone equip the following: Sydney Sleeper, Cozy Camper, Bushwacka. Use the Sydney Sleeper to tag enemies for eachother to crit with the Bushwacka as well as extinguish afterburn, all while the Cozy Camper limits knockback/flinching and regenerates health. Alternatively, have two snipers but one soldier with the Buff Banner so you can go on a rampage when he doots.
