*Fun fact:* Speaking of the Legends Duel on Tantiss, Luke's clone, Luuke, reappeared many years later in a short story written by Timothy Zahn, called "An Apology", in which it is revealed that Mara Jade accidentally killed the original Luke, being the Skywalker we saw from that moment on the clone usurping the original and working for Thrawn until the latter replaced him with another clone called Luuuke. It was published on April Fool's Day, by the way.

Thats what I'm leaning towards. Clone Force 99 holding the line allowing Rex, Gregor, Wolffe and Omega to leave during a failed rescue, as the rest of the clones commence one glorious last battle. For the Republic. Of course the Empire sweeps it under the rug, Wolfe still had mixed feelings all these years, especially once he meets Ezra and Kanan in Rebels. Cause order 66. And Omega leaves to forget her own future. Potential with Hunter. Or some other ally, as Rex and the boys become the farmers we end up seeing later on"

My theory is that while they do succeed in delaying the emperor’s project and free the clones on mount tantiss, they also fail in escaping due to a unseen situation that results in Rex and/or omega escaping the facility with the likes of Wolfe and Gregor joining him in exile. And the bad batch sacrifice themselves to save omega. And echo being the final member of domino squad will go down first unfortunately

Considering this will be the end of the series and potentially the prequel era as a whole, and considering how the clone wars went out on such a depressing note with Victory and Death, I think there's a non-zero chance that the point from season 2 about everyone and everything in the empire being replaceable will be proven true. It may cause a hefty delay, but Tantiss can be leveled and rebuilt if necessary. If it does end up coming to that, though, I don't think I'm emotionally prepared to see the clone troopers meet the same fate as the facilities they were born in back in the end of season 1.

2:20 I love the Kenobi novel. It shows that Star Wars can have entertaining stories with a simple premise, like Obi-Wan helping to solve a conflict between farmers and tusken. Also, I love the references John Jackson Miller makes to the Old Republic Era, like the chapter that takes place in the same Tatooine Cantina we can visit in KOTOR and the mentions to the legendary Jedi Zayne Carrick and Kerra Holt, being both characters creations of Miller

If the Clone Liberation Network were to have a name, it would be appropriate to name it Fives’ Battalion, after Fives, since he uncovered the truth of the clones’ inhibitor chip, indirectly saving Rex and inspiring him to do the same with the Bad Batch, Captains Howzer and Gregor.

I always wonder what characters from other media involving clone armies would think when they see Star Wars Canon. Even Star Wars Legends would be as shocked as these other characters to see how the dynamics are so different. With Clone Troopers being more individualistic and loyal to democracy than the Stormtroopers that come after them, soldiers that are regular people, heroes and villains from other stories like Legends will be stunned. Rex’s group technically has a name from other material, the Clone Underground. Still, there’s a chance it’ll have a different name in the show. As for how things go, I like to think Mount Tantiss is taken down, setting back Project Necromancer to the point Imperial Remnants must pick up the pieces and the Sith Eternal messes up in the process, but we have to remember Rex, Gregor, and Wolffe are found on Seelos retired. There is tragedy in store for the Clone Troopers.

Rex, Wolffe and Gregor are on Seelos in Rebels, so maybe they were successful, but at such a cost that these three clones withdrew. Maybe the Bad Batch took a bad loss that hurt Rex deeply as well, since he didn't want to take up the fight again in Rebels. It's speculation at this point.

With all the clone troopers have done and been through since the beginning of the clone wars up until this point during the Imperieal era, characters like them deserve nothing else but a happy ending. Yes, with their excellerated aging, they'll be old men by the time of the Rebellion. But better to live a short life as free men, than spend the rest of their lives as lab rats tests subjects to the Empire.

Oh, there making it to Tantus, the Clones, and their allies, they won't all make it out, some will die I'm 100% Crosshair is going die, 50:50 on Wrecker, I'm 80% Echo will live, and Omega being a kid they won't kill her even Disney won't go that far and because she needs someone to raise her Hunter the main dad in this group will survive too gurented. As for the other Clones, obviously Rex, Wolffee, and Gregor all survive, but they won't be the only ones at least one other important member from the 501st, Wolf Pack, and 212th will survive as well, but probably no more, so if say both Cody and Boil join this Clone Rebellion one of them will die but the other will live. It's the same for all the new Clones introduced in this series such as Howzier, Fireball, and Nemec, one of them will live and the other two will die. It's simply a matter of which one, personally my Republic Credits are on Fireball living. However, it won't just be the good guys taking loses, the bad guys will too. Hemlock is going to die and a good chunk of his research is going down with him to explain why even by the time of the Mandalorian Prjoect Necromancy is still having trouble being completed, and also to explain why the Empire never used cloned Zilo Beasts, because let's be honset even if they only had like 10 or 20 of those things it would be more then enough to wipe out all the Rebels.

Honestly, I don’t believe the assault on Tentis will be a success and the only survivors will be omega, Echo, and the Star Wars rebels clones. Crosshair for sure is going to die and probably will die very heroicly and I really don’t think Hunter is going to be in much better shape. Wrecker might survive but he’s kind of stupid and always charging head first into battle so unless someone makes a sacrifice to save him he will probably die too

I absolutely love the bad batch, but I am a biased guy, i do prefer the legends mainly the story told in battlefront 2 (2005) and the largest reason is in bf2 the empire understood the value in the clones as effective soldiers. But in the new canon the Empire is Evil for the sake of being Evil with a demigod Emperor and his army of Clowns, I know that Stormtroopers are inferior to clones but comon. Atleast show us why they are called the empire's elites. It's incredibly retarded of the Empire to treat Corsshair that way, in legends he would ben rewarded for he's loyalty and made good use of his skills. This is only my opinion.

Why'd you bring the timeline for Legends Mt. Tantiss into this like it actually matters? This Mt. Tantiss is just the appropriated concept of the original, much like everything else brought into Canon from Legends. We won't get anywhere close to a 1:1 adaptation for anything brought in. They use Legends for "inspiration" where they reuse assets with either a twist on the og story or just an entirely new story. You know this.
