Amazing lesson! Crashed my mini 2 bad last year, replaced broken ribbon cable, but still had camera error. Finally ordered an alibaba?! camera connection cable hoping it work. Thanks a lot for this - I accidentally have destroyed the pins of one of their ends when installing the previous cable and I had to buy a new one, very meticulous work. Followed your steps...at the moment even though I have managed to replace the cable, it errors with 'gimbal stuck' so trying to figure out why gimbal is not properly working...

Does the flex cable make the camera center after start up? My camera works, but gamble doesn't center on start up, just stays in one spot.

I replaced the cable with the help of this excellent tutorial, congratulations on your work. It's not the first time I've repaired the drone. this time, however, once reassembled and turned on the gimbal does not move well and is blocked by the app, it also emits a strange and continuous noise. the gimbal is free to move and there is no physical obstacle blocking it. what could it depend on?

You should disassemble the gimbal again and blow compressed air from a can on the gimbal motors and housing, there may be some dust or small particles stuck in there. If that happens, you can move it by hand easily but the motors are blocked by any small resistance. There are youtube guides that you can follow to do this.

Hey man I was really hoping this wouldn't happen but already ordered the gimbal and I'm seeing some reviews on Amazon and some people are saying that after you replace the gimbal you need to do some software or some firmware updates or it won't work Is this true if yes how access these thank you so much

Hello, I had a problem with some ants that broke two wires of the small cable between the camera and the gimbal, which gave me an error code 40002, the gimbal got stuck to one side without being able to solve it in any other way. I bought the new cable and following this step-by-step video, I was able to change it perfectly and delicately. When turning on the drone, it gives me several codes: camera error (10001), lower visual sensor error codes (180016, 180017 and 180018), stabilizer IMU data error (40021), Camera not calibrated (10016)…. What I can do???
