There's so merch with 2020 Tokyo I don't think it'll be worth much in 50yrs. If you got ahold of let's say a medal that had 2020 inscriped on it then yea. Or if you got ahold of the original art work for the mascots and got it signed then yea.

You definitely paid the tourist prices for the ice cream and refreshments but it was kool you got to take home the paper model of the Tokyo tower. As you were riding the elevator it reminded me of how many jingle tunes you hear all around Tokyo and Japan in general, everything from cross signals to all the different train jingles. My favorite one is when you board the keisei line at Narita. It might be kool if you guys did a jingle tour at different interesting places.

I REALLY LOVED THIS ONE! I missed going to Tokyo Tower when I was there because the lines were so long. To see everything with no crowd is AMAZING! I spent a lot of time at Zojoji Temple, being able to see the back of the temple from the top of the tower was very cool! Thanks for including it. I loved the ice cream dish that changed to a tower :-) OK Now I know what I missed! Yes, please go to skytree if you can. I know everyone hates the pandemic but in a way, it is giving us an opportunity through you guys - to be able to see some of the most crowded areas of Tokyo without the crowds. Thank you so much!

I like how quiet the tower is in your video. It's almost like you guys had it all to yourself. The social distancing markers are great, I love going to places that have them because I'm terrible at estimating distance. I love that the Coke machine played the Coke jingle when you got one. I love the retro look of Tokyo Tower a bit more than the modern look of SkyTree. I'll definitely add it to my list of things to do when I go back to Japan. It's not quite as expensive as SkyTree, right? Ahh! The floor tile made to look like the floor is undulating is also cool!

i went to both tokyo tower (at night) and skytree (daytime) in june 2018 and i really enjoyed tokyo tower much more than the other tower... skytree felt much more “commercial” while tokyo tower was a whole experience where i felt really cared for as a visitor

I'm scared of heights too, but when watching your stuff through video tours it feels less scary for some reason ;) nice work guys as usual. the Skytree would be cool, as someone whom used to live in NYC for decades, I almost didn't do many of the touristy stuff unless friends or cousins came to visit and wanted to do them haha.

I've visited the Tokyo Tower three times, in the morning and at night (my little son wanted to visit the tower at night)and I highly recommend it, because we enjoyed the Milky Way ilumination and it's amazing!!!! This is so nostalgic for me. I stayed in the hotel close to Tokyo tower a couple of times (you can see it in the video). Been up the tower once about 17 years ago. If I go again I would only go to the main deck. Went up to the topdeck as well but I got an anxiety attack because of my fear of heights, so I'm not going up Skytree hahaha only the shopping area there I've been to a couple of times. If I go to an observatory deck now I usually go in Shinjuku since that one is free or the one in sunshine city in Ikebukuro since it is closeby.

I remember Tokyo Tower being mentioned constantly in Haikyuu and also Skytree! Man it looks so cool from up there. And also, it’s so empty. But that’s understandable. Looking forward to your Skytree visit if ever. And maybe how about visiting the most extreme points of Japan, like nothernmost, southernmost, westernmost, easternmost points. Please take care!

I’ve never seen the inside or view from Tokyo tower and yet I was shocked seeing the mirror interior at top level as it appeared in a dream of mine a few nights ago. And yes , I looked down the floor window but 🙈... and the illusion pattern on the floor wasn’t helpful .... If i ever go there I’d like an ice cream just for he cute packaging and maybe a iced caramel latte ☺️ 🗼 🍦 So in my case Tokyo Tower over Skytree still .... Stay safe and healthy , too 😷 😷
