You defo did the right thing with a 38. Smaller and they are not great for longer journeys and bigger you have probs in visiting marinas. And the cost. You've done a great job on her. As for a shower. Hmmm. Tough one. I prob wouldn't bother of you're having a few people on board as they'll cane your water, but if it's you plus 2, perhaps. The work you've done is spectacular. Love it.

OpenCPN + raspberry Pi 5 + MacArtur NMEA hat for our chart plotter, use a phone or tablet as a screen, upgradeable later with AIS :) Some maps need to be purchased but that's not a huge cost

Why is the boat just on the ground in the mud against a wall??

We beach the boat on the mud against the wall in order to survey it “inspect it” The hull under the water line for any potential damage.since I was about to spend a substantial amount of money it’s recommended to survey it. Note: I saved around £200 pounds on boat lift “travel lift.” Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for watching.
