hi metatron, this is a serious question... what would happen if there is this person, he is a knight, kindoff, he travels a lot between countries in medieval europe, he is not very rich at all or he likes to travel light so he would rather not use plate armor (when he fights, that is). Then would it be possible that he got his armor taking what he liked most of the different countries he has been while at the end being part of single army (french in this case)? that could happen in those times, isnt it? if not, why wouldn't they do it?

Growing up here in Texas ive actually seen people riding, with full saddle and gear, on longhorns. Doesn't help the stereotype but it happens. I asked the guy one time what it takes to tame that giant longhorn he was riding, he said half jokingly "Oh a lot of flying in the air, broken bones.."
