The difference in shane and brent shines pretty bright in this one. Shane is a strong skeptic too but he doesn't try to out-prove ryan and is more laid back and keeps his 'I know this is bs but I'll go along with it' vibe. I guess there's also the fact that brent wasn't interested at all in doing this series so he didn't try that much. Glad they found shane who could match ryan's energy cuz unsolved would be very different without the pair

Yes! My daughter and I were talking about how frustrated we are that Shane doesn't stick to his guns and argue logically with Ryan. And we joke that Brent quit after a couple of episodes because he had zero tolerance for Ryan's tinfoil hatting. I adore Shane, I just wish he would not be so passive about defending science.

Anyone ever hear how, back years ago, when police wanted to rough up a suspect, they would put on pink bunny ears or other weird things before doing so, so when witnesses would say, “yeah, the police officer came in wearing pink bunny ears and he beat me up,” they would sound crazy… It’s almost like things were set up to be just weird enough so that when reported, people would sound crazy. Maybe some people are crazy, but maybe that’s not always the case, and they’ve just been made to look crazy.

I've encountered a "men in black" person before. I was in Walmart with my mom and i was looking down the aisles and I saw a man looking at me in a black suit, I thought noting of it. Later I was doing the same thing but at a different part of the store and he was standing there looking at me.

I think the description makes a lot of sense - No hair, eyebrows or lashes mean they wouldn't fall and leave DNA smaples around. -Prolly the skin had some kind of treatment so dead cells wouldn't fall neither, leaving traceable scents. -IDK about the red lips, but like, if the skin is super pale and they have chemicals all over it, maybe a side effect? -Also if you don't have eyelashes or eyebrows your eyes would look HUGE.
