Stronghold: Crusader was one of my first proper computer games. I played the shit out of it despite how shit I actually was at first. It was my first introduction into the Crusades and it strangely enoughed formed a lot of my early ideas for fantasy. Loved the soundtrack, the graphics, and I loved using Arab mercenaries because when they complained about distance I couldn't understand them. To this day my main strat is to get some horse archers, Arabian swordsmen, European swordsmen, pikemen, and archers along with a battering ram to punch through the defenses and overwhelm them.
