UPDATE: The boot did rupture and so I re-read the website and it states to use the boot. I did take the boot off to see if it would seat and it was loose. The boot helps fill the gap AND it also hold the grease in. NOTE: install with an empty boot. In the video I had a boot full of grease and it ballooned out and did rupture. BUT..,. if installed with an empty boot, you can still pump grease in and it will hold the grease and seal the joint. Hope this helps someone out.

I saw this thing for sale and wondered what it was and what it cured so I searched the cure on you tube and found your video. I am fixing to upgrade my steering links and I will be getting one of these. I was thinking the very thing too much grease as I watched you do this. I think they should have in their instructions to empty the grease out and grease after install. Great video Blue Sky , Thanks !

I have notice a big difference in mine since....I also busted the rubber boot so use it but don't over fill it once it is one. I over did it in this video and it busted a few months later

Well there are several variable with my Jeep. The front axle is out of a 78 F250 and the steering has GM 1 ton ends on a weld yourself steering kit from barnes 4wd. BUT having run it for over a year I can say it is sturdy and works very well at taking the sway out the steering wheel

@@SkyBlueOffRoad I wouldn't consider mine bad but it does wonder around a bit. I really have to stay focused while driving down the highway especially. Jeep will wonder across center line or over on the shoulder. I have a 98 wrangler that pretty stock. 3" body lift and 11.50x32 tires. Next thing I need to address is sometimes the right rear tire wants to lock up when I get in the brakes hard on dirt or gravel.
