Well done both of you. I once did the Race for Life, here in the UK, it is 15K for the runners and 10K for the fun run. I am disabled and walk with arm crutches, came in 2nd to last and two pain killers to the good, but was proud of myself. Everyone who finishes gets a small cake, bottle of water, wrist sweat bands and a medal. It was ten years ago, I could not manage 1K now but still have my medal. Race for Life raises money for Cancer Research and every runner, runs in memory of a loved one lost to cancer, They have a huge bill board tree of life at the start which has pictures of all the people in who;s memory you run. Well done again and for raising money for a good cause.

I was your age and a good runner , i was in the army and you do a 3 mile run at o400 hrs , my time was 17 minutes and 20 seconds with army gear boots and kit , every time i did it for a few months , i was sick , but then after i got accustomed to it . Congrats to both of you and a great video.

Well done to both of you. And i agree with Anna, there is nothing fun about it lol I used to do cross country running at school and for the county. I didn't enjoy doing it very much, but i was good at it and not a lot else back then, so i did it, so i had something i could say i was good at. They were usually somewhere around the 4-6 mile kind of distance, i used to average about 7.5-8 mins per mile, but that was when i was still a teen, then i discovered the ciggies and now im lucky if i can run upstairs without getting out of breath.
