Yeah, though we do get to see how horrible Zombrex is with Katey. Seeing her getting annoyed with it, and even feeling sick. This medicine is an absolute pain to deal with, your completely dependent on it to begin with. Needing to take it every 24 hours so you don't turn. With the medicine actually making the patients sick in the process.

While people like the first game and Frank West, I still like the sequel a lot more despite not being as intriguing as the predessor's story. A lot of blood and fun.

I thought Chuck Greene was a great protagonist. 2 also, in my opinion, have the best cast of characters, and while 2's story wasn't as good as 1's, it's still very enjoyable. Something I feel Dead Rising 3 and 4 failed to do.

I kinda enjoy OTR more than vanilla 2. I like chuck but I think Frank has more chemistry with the rest of the cast and it really makes sense for him to be there.

So we know how in DR1, the mall was made to resemble how malls look here. But in DR2, with the Vegas vibe, it's just as accurate. I grew up most of my life in vegas, so it reminds me of home when i play. The carpet and wall designs and colors are how a lot of casinos work, the silver strip with the outdoor roof is like the one irl. The mall looking areas, are also pretty spot on. The music and sfx of the slots are chefs kiss. And the food court areas are so good, they even got the colors so accurate. The stadium is basically how stadiums look on the inside, especially for Nascar. It's just so nice to look at, and it makes me nostalgic of my hometown

While i prefer the og DR2 over OTR, the latter does have an ACTUAL sandbox mode that the former lacks and the first never really had in this way OTR sadly is a lot buggier than the original but if i had to pick one, itd be DR2 and by the absolute smallest of margins Both are great, definitely took DR1 and made it even better but i get why people love the first more

Playing the game for the first time and hearing about the what if dlc. Made me think of my own what if scenario for Dead Rising 2. One where Chuck Greene and Frank West worked together in the main story. With Chuck being the straight man with the witty Reponses to Frank being a smart aleck. With needing to find Medicine to take care of Frank and dropping off medicine to Katey. The biggest thing of the DLC is actual investigation. Because going back to the main story everything we find out, we have to hear over a broadcast and there really isn't any investigation or detective work. Because spoilers Since the twist antagonists of the main and dlc is the security officer and the protestor. I really feel that it could be found out in game. Questioning who was the person who blew up the gates, who went into the security office to take the footage of the imposter blowing the gate, who was Rebecca's source, and how did Tyrone get loose again.

Honestly I've wanted to play Dead Rising and Yakuza after playing Project X Zone 1 & 2. Is it the best crossover game? No. But the fact that Phoenix Wright had to defend Goro FRIGGIN Majima, as well as convince the guy not to assault the judge, is hilarious.

I didn't really mind the katie zombrex, just saw it as another main story mission. It doesn't technically game over you if she dies either, much like a main story mission failing....buuuut that sure does feel bad.

On only the ps3 and 360 version of Otr there is a dlc pack called the gamebreaker pack which is a mod menu for Otr. With the 360 store shutdown the only way to get this dlc currently is through the ps3 store.

Case west dlc was my favorite one even if it was Xbox exclusive. The game was 'short' yet I felt like I could do everything I wanted. It had coop. It let you get a good taste of the gameplay and story. I never really got used to the main story for its time system, but really did enjoy the smaller contained DLC story pieces. So while the 'idea' of dead rising 4 might have appealed to me in theory... I found it a down grade from the other games. My wish is that Case West would be moved onto a new system... And for Capcom to make smaller versions of Dead Rising rather than the modern expensive messes. As an arcade style version with zombies stuck on a cruise ship would give smaller area, a time limit (make sure boat doesn't go under)... and it would be made cheaper as it wouldn't need to be as big as the other games and test interests rather than testing your patience. If it sold well they could do it in an 'episode format' to give both the sand box field and narrow each region to whatever theme they want to mess with. Shame it probably will not happen as this series will be left in the wind.

Hope to comment on this video again when Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster 2 gets released! XD But mannnn, Dead Rising 2 straight up still is the most packed dead rising game. The re-releases and demos are what I think DLC SHOULD BE. Chuck Greene is the best DR protag to me with how many versions he has even if he has the least bold personality.

The Cure Protesters/Psychopath Brandon Whittaker is responsible planting the bombs and starting the outbreak. Before that Frank witnessed Brandon making a Deal with TK and Frank took photos. And Stacey as Agent S who part of Pheontrans basically using the Cure organization to keep making outbreaks. As she said Cure started Outbreaks before. It does do a play of how activisms has an effect in a both positive and negative effect. Even though they have different intentions. That some goes extreme methods of what they believe is for the greater good. It's to get footage for filler. I wanted some footage of him just skateboarding, with nothing getting on the way of some clean boarding. So I used a trainer to kill the zombies for when I just needed clean footage of things like walking or skateboarding. So the trainer will mass kill the zombies. To get them back, turn it off, then exit the area, and the zombie spawns are back to normal. Editor btw.
