I remember Gentle on my mind ( Glen Campbell) back when i was kid growing up. It made radio play for years. Still one of my favorite songs. The Dillard's were a major influence on a lot of people in the music world at the time. Talent ed group. Great video. 👍

The Dillards episodes will ALWAYS get My votes in the Best Episodes Polls You post as You mught have noticed unless the other episode is truly "Outstanding" Andy quote after one if their collaborations, "Dooley" I believe. The first CD burned from the Internet I ever got from a buddy of mine in the early Naughties were of The Boys! 🤓😎✌🏻

Would love to see an episode on the first bluegrass band on the show, The Kentucky Colonels, featuring Clarence & Roland White. They were on twice in the first season. Always great information on these videos. Thanks Bob!

Why did their characters just stare like that? Totally emotionless. It was hilarious.
@theandygriffithshowfactsan35854 сағат бұрын
Just the way it was written. They weren't actors, so it would be easier for them I guess lol

I have always prefered The Dilliard's version of "Polly Vaughn". It has a distinct Ozark sound imho
