I don’t get it. How are these guys A and A+ rated when they’re this dirty? I worked my ass off giving up positions, leaving room and avoiding wrecking people as much as possible and I’m barely an A. I think polyphony needs to to develop a penalty system that has some weight. Like if you get too many penalties in a 24 hr period you get a one week ban and lose your rating and start from scratch. Make it hurt.

I'm so close to quitting this game man, I was the target of some pure filth drivers this evening. I really want to quit the game. Five or six races in a row, guy was ramming me and slowing to hit me if I pass at red bull ring. Completely unprovoked but he decided to target me. So close to done, waste of money DON'T EVER BUY GRAN TURISMO

I know the feeling mate! Definitely had a lot of races that's made me feel the same way! Safe to say though, when the races are good, they are absolutely great, and when the races are bad, they are absolutely horrific. Always one extreme to the other, ha! I do think things are getting SLIGHTLY better however, the new damage model definitely makes people re-think their driving and aggression!

There is no point in you complaining about dirty driving if you are going to get involved in blatant retribution like that. This is why the problems continue. If someone wipes you out, take a deep breath, carry on and forget about it. Do you think this guy suddenly saw the error of his ways because you totalled him? No, you just reinforced in his mind that this is how people drive.

😂 dude you deleted someone from the race at the very beginning. Yes the others are dirty drivers but, so are you. I know you didn't do some stuff intentionally but man there were a lot of bumping 😂 I enjoyed the video. Keep it up. I'll be watching your progress.

I’ll be honest, I had to re-watch the video to see what you meant. I totally forgot about that incident and somehow don’t think it registered quick enough as to what actually happened - even after I was editing it! I always stop to give the places back if I know I’m fault (that said, we probably both agree I wasn’t at intentional fault as you say) but watching it back now, I’m not sure why I didn’t give it back. I was probably too distracted, definitely on the stream at least, with the cars further ahead. I’m surprised at myself for not flagging it in the edit and with the voice over. So appreciate you pulling me up on it! Appreciate the kind words on the video, glad you enjoyed it still! Hopefully catch you on a stream or in a race at some point!

@@affinityracing75 I'll definitely try to tune in to one of your streams. I used to be super aggressive and drive bumper to bumper and ended up punting people or screwing up my own race. Now I study my opponents to see which corner they are weakest. Kiss there bumper a bit on the straight to let them know I am faster but always stay about .3-.5 behind. Find a corner you are faster. Get side by side out of the corner. Do not pass and keep them on the outside. You will have all the advantages and they will be extremely slow into the next corner.

It is so much funner to be clean. I'm a hard racer but I will race you clean. I don't get discouraged when I get passed by a faster driver, instead I adjust my driving line & I end up finding more time around the track. There is no gentleman's agreement. I understand it's only gaming & its not that serious to some but I take racing serious. We will always come across somebody faster than us in the world of Gran Turismo, Sometimes we end up being the fastest, Always show some class & take the L as a loss but as a learning experience

Agreed! Clean racing is always more fun. I've had amazing races, even at the back of the grid, that have had a full 10 laps of nothing but side by side racing and nothing but respect, always great fun!

There was absolutely a few questionable moments when I watched this back, I guess in-race vs post-race always gives a different perspective. I always aim to race as cleanly as possible and whenever I can, I always give the places back when I’ve cost someone. I have a few videos due to come out where this is the case. you drive just as badly as those you criticize 🫣 crash in the rear at 1:19, pushing one out at 2:41, bump in the rear again at 4:05 and in the left 25 sec later etc not a single clean lap in traffic. My favorite one is at 7:01 when you crashed the car in front of you instead of breaking for the corner…… go and do some selfreflecting…the same at 9:02…….
