Holy crap! How awesome is that!? I have a 2017 F-150 and I saw your video when you initially posted and thought about making it as two separate boxes with the lengths matching the seats in case I needed to flip one seat up, I could remove one box and use the floor space. But I also like Dee Zee’s idea of being able to pull the entire length of the drawer from either side, whichever is convenient, or in case one side is blocked. I do have the Dee Zee tailgate assist. Good for you! I hope Dee Zee rewards you, if not with cash (should be cash), at least give you a ton of their gear. “No one watches our videos”? Ouch, that hurt. Not really, I prefer being in the shadows, and a nobody. I’m looking forward to your video showing the commercially available product. Hey! You should ask Dee Zee to provide a discount code, maybe “Zero to Awesome”, for your viewers. Just saying. Congrats! You must be feeling awesome!

I also have the 'can't lift the seats because of carseats' problem. I have a 2011 F150, but it has the subwoofer under the passenger side. Saw the original video a few weeks ago and love the idea. Looks like I'll be making one for my truck. Awesome idea.

I'm in the same situation as you, having 2 car seats on the back of my '21 F150, and previously my '18 F150, and the storage is pretty useless when you can fold the seats up. I just have stuff shoved under the seat and it slides or occasionally. This will be a welcome addition to the truck world!

I actually got mine in late February. Ordered early November 2021 through Jegs. But the one piece of tape that held the box closed had broken and allowed the drawer to come out and get damaged. Sent it back and now it’s delayed another month. Wishing I would have fixed it myself.

Update- I ordered one off Amazon and canceled my Jegs order. Got it in today. Packaging was barely holding on but it was intact. One of the drawer rivets was broken but I’ll fix it. Other than that it looks good.

I this EXACTLY what I needed! I have 2 child car seats so a flip up option is no good and the straight pull out toward the front seats options seem to be expensive and super shallow. So glad you are making this, I just preordered from one of your distributers (JEGS). Fingers crossed it comes before Christmas! I'll post a review once I receive and install it.

Early estimates were a $150ish wholesale price and distributors would mark them up from there. I’ll try and get a firm number at SEMA and do another update. The production version should be ironed out by then.
