Great to watch. LP's and call boxes. Nowadays people would use the Internet to gather information and mobile phones. I think I would rather have the time before the internet. Before long hardly anyone will know what life was like before mobile phones but in another generation or two someone will ask"What's a mobile phone"? because technology will have moved on.

It was then. Driving or not, they were supposed to refuse to serve anyone who was drunk and if caught doing so could lose their license. Although there was an awful lot of blindness about, especially for regulars!

I think the theme of amnesiac/lying characters is over used by Durbridge, great series in spite of this.

Hi - really sorry about this. Any upload to KZbin is meant to have automatically generated subtitles, but as you have seen sometimes it just doesn't happen. It is nothing to do with us, and we cannot see any way to overcome this occasional glitch, sorry!
