@dazednconfused-r4o Жыл бұрын
@@shadybizz8967and what's that trick? Because he played blues (Back Door Man, Roadhouse Blues), jazzy rock (Lost Little Girl, Riders on the storm), psychedelic rock (Light My Fire, When the Music's Over, the End), flamenco (Spanish Caravan) and many unique and interesting rhythm guitar parts on many other Doors songs as well. Definitely not a one trick pony

Amazing to see how Jim RELISHES singing it , look at him he really is still SO into it and he would have performed it 100's of times at that stage that blatant relish just gives the whole thing that extra wow factor and we know we bear witness to something INCREDIBLE
@TedBronson19186 жыл бұрын
From what I understand, Jim was shy and often sang with eyes closed. At the very beginning he wouldn't even face the audience while performing. I think your "into it" was actually booze or something else, plus his shyness.

WAKE UP! ...as Jim said again and again. If you're going to comment, then inform yourself. The Doors were not hippies or a "hippie band". Jim despised hippies, and saw them as leeches on society. ...Thrilled to see all the footage with him imploring the audience to wake up to life. It's more fitting now than ever.
@Mohini5211 жыл бұрын
Not a hippie. Just and drunk and a drug addict who trashed his body until it quit on him. He was an accidental rock musician. He was a mess.
@pacificoast8211 жыл бұрын
He wasn't a drug addict. Inform yourself. He was sadly, genetically alcoholic. Calling him "a drunk" indicates that you don't understand alcoholism. It's also an extremely antiquated way of viewing what we now know to be a genetic predisposition. Perhaps it's better to be grateful that you don't have it, or perhaps you do, or it's in your family. Why does his tragedy anger you? He passed 42 years ago. What's the anger about? He was brilliant.
@Mohini5211 жыл бұрын
Your opinion. he was a drunk and a drug addict. You first choose to drink and take drugs then you become addicted then they say you have a disease. Anger? That,s your imagination. He called himself an accidental musician. He thought poorly of himself.
