I am so sorry. We support you. When I spoke against DW at my former church, it didnt go well for me. The Wilson followers are ruthless. You dont deserve this online verbal abuse the Wilson followers throw at you.

@@CornerTalker No, especially the neighbor-hating satan-serving Christians, their "Christian values" are a bit too fascienable, if you get my drift. There hasn't been many times in history, where the satan-serving Christians controlled the Government, and it didn't end up in some atrocity. There is something about them satan-serving Christians that makes me uneasy, I can't quite place it, it could be their hatred of people, it could be their narcissism, it could be their abusive soul-damaging behavior, I am not sure, but there seems to be something off about those satan-serving Christians. 🤔

How can this fruit be so easily dismissed… the truth is it CANNOT. There is something g seriously wrong with your theology if it makes room for speech and actions like these.

I have so many questions about that flamethrower: 1. Why a flamethrower? 2. Isn't this a form of religious terrorism (or at least threatening it)? 3. Is it Christ-like to basically advocate for civil war? 4. Do they think they're fighting in WW2? 5. Who are they going to target? You? Me? I'm so confused by these people!

Any one who thinks Christian nationalism is Biblical has never opened their Bible and read it with a heart truly seeking God and seeking to live a life that glorifies Him. There is nothing Biblical about Christian nationalism because the only thing we are to be fighting for and belonging to is the Kingdom of God.

Does God not desire for our earthly circles to honor Him? Though our eternal home and true identity is in Christ's kingdom, we still seek to have Christian families, Christian schools, Christian churches, Christian organizations, Christian companies. Why not Christian nations?

@@andrewberry7117 if you read the Bible and take time to consider what the Bible says it tells us to be in the world not of the world - not segregated into separate schools, separate communities etc. and the only nation we belong to is a kingdom and the King of that Kingdom is our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

No Quarter November is a monthlong "movement" created by Doug Wilson to push an extreme, ultra-masculine, harsh form of "Christianity." It's an excuse to be even more awful than normal.

I’m so sick of people acting like this. I myself would describe myself as a Theonomist, a Christian Reconstructionist, someone who deeply appreciates those such as R J Rushdoony, Gary North, Greg Bahnsen, Ken Gentry etc, but this ‘Christian Nationalism’ crowd is just the worst! And not only that, they are giving everyone else that may have some aligning views a bad name! (And trust me, we don’t need any more help getting a bad name, we have our own fruitcakes lol)

CP is such a toxic gang. I believe I actually saw Wilson declare his lack of responsibility for the behavior of his fan base, so he is definitely not oblivious to it. If I can find the reference to that I’ll post it. Not with a link, of course.

Here's the text you're referring to. A few Scriptures come just before the quote. Luke 20 5-6 Jesus asks the Pharisees about John the Baptist. The Pharisees - according to Scripture - were afraid that if they answered wrongly, the followers of Jesus would stone them. Luke 20 19 and the chief priests and the scribes the same hour sought to lay hands on him and they feared the people. Jesus followers get rowdy and threaten to stone people in Luke 22 2, Mark 11 18 & 32, and Mark 12 12. Jesus never rebukes them. He rebukes his own Apostles, and that is all. The Apostles were in the same situation: Acts 5 26 “then went the captain with the officers and brought them without violence for they feared the people lest they should have been stoned.” Then Doug says, “Did their presence in the mix in any way discredit what Jesus was up to? Not even a little bit. Did Andrew or Bartholomew ever need to feel a little sheepish and urge the Lord to issue a press release immediately to denounce these unconscionable threats of violence? …he understood their cluelessness …but he never apologized for their cluelessness."

@@CornerTalker What I heard was via video. He does read his blog posts in his videos, so...maybe. Wilson is a master manipulator, highly skilled at weaponizing scripture against others and in defense of himself. Jesus speaking truth is not analogous to Doug Wilson promoting a political ideology, and Jesus' followers threatening violence is not analogous to the promoters of Christian Nationalism on [Twitter] who are espousing ideas that Wilson himself claims not to hold. The thing about political power is that you have to be soft on the "useful idiots" at the edges of your ideology, because you can't make headway without them. You need numbers. It's clear that Wilson is a believer in No Enemies to the Right. Worse, he has said and written enough to indicate that he DOES, in fact, support some of the ideas of these fringe followers.

Somewhat irrelevant, but last year when Costi came out against Wilson, John MacArthur was in a private zoom meeting where he made a statement against Wilson and the need for Christians to separate from them. I'm curious as to why he didn't say that publicly, especially since he has been very vocal against Charismatics and the Cheap grace gospel?
