And had people known that when the game was released in 1999, 90% of them wouldn't have returned it to the store! Lmao. People always got hung up on the slalom, but my buddy knew what to do because he was very familiar with this movie and remembered this scene.
@WhiteJarrah2 жыл бұрын
@@revokdaryl1 I doubt that many people returned it. _Driver_ was a commercial success. But the confusion factor for what you're supposed to do is legendary. The sad part is on the main menu under training, there is a practice demo with a replay showing you EXACTLY what you are supposed to do in order to pass. I think had many people seen that or at least got the demo replay in the mission itself a lot of headaches would have been spared.
@revokdaryl12 жыл бұрын
@@WhiteJarrah My mistake. Actually, the rumour I heard was that many people returned the game after not being able to beat the final mission "The President's Run".

Thanks, because I couldn't figure out 1) what point he is making by destroying the car and 2) why they were just sitting there, acting helpless, like they couldn't stop him from doing this. Side note: back then, it was probably kind of sad to see the car destroyed for the movie, but today, it is REALLY sad to see it destroyed. LOL!
@RoskinGreenrake19 күн бұрын
@@DigitalBathInAZ I guess that part about the old driver not having the balls anymore probs to take risks generally is true as being sat next to him he had the best chance of interfering, the others wouldn't have wanted to cause an accident. Still though the driver could've said something 'like send me a bill for the damages, I won't pay extra.' otherwise they could've waited till he turned around and fired a warning shot to pursue their interests.. I guess it'd be a good hobie amongst friends to try to see how much you can change to make movies smarter but still work out.
