I made this using ingredients I am allowed to have. I'm allergic to egg whites, wheat ,cornflour which baking powder contains and milk, I used rice milk ,egg yolk,spelt flour and a special baking powder. Was so delicious and enjoyed by everyone

I made some apple muffins the week before last that included flour in the cinnamon that was sprinkled on top of the muffins. They weren't my favorite muffins that I've baked. Your recipe looks good though. I'll definitely be trying them. Thank you. Also I'll just go ahead and subscribe to your channel. I really thought I was since I've watched a number of your videos. Heya! :) I just got a new oven and I believe the function I use has both top and bottom heating elements on :) If you notice the tops of your baked goods overbrowning, then you can place the oven rack slightly lower in the oven :)

You're so welcome! Great question :) So I usually don't for muffin recipes because muffins are meant to be slightly more firm as opposed to break-apart soft like a cake/cupcake. This also makes it easier to spread butter or other spreads/jams on :)

Heya! :) Hmmm good question! I've never tried using canned apples before - are they dry apples or do they have a type of syrup/liquid in them? If they're dry, then it should be fine, if they have additional liquid then you may need to add a little more flour to the batter to ensure the muffins aren't too soggy/dense :)

Heya! :) I think for this recipe, instead of applesauce, maybe shredding the apples would work better (it should somewhat disintegrate into the batter so you can't really tell they're there). If you think applesauce will still be more appropriate for his needs, then you may just need to add a little more flour otherwise there may be too much moisture in the muffin batter :) Hope you enjoy the recipe!

Very nice but way too sweet even I made it without the topping. Texture is nice will definitely try with the suggestion someone made of cutting by a third.
