You made me cry, I’m currently trying to keep my 38 year old son alive I take all the terrible names he calls me I beg him to stop the drugs, he used to be a hard worker now his just lost, I so wish you could meet him and have a chat with him, I don’t want to see him back in jail I don’t think I could take it again,keep doing what your doing god bless

It’s hard but for your son to see the light n a better way of living without drugs he has to do it on his own he has to hit proper rock bottom and not have in the back of his mind I’ll just ring mum she’ll help me and you will but you gotta take a step back n just let him implode until he gets it it’ll happen but as hard as it is mum you need to say no more n you’ll have your old son back within 5years trust me I’ve been that son and tough love is something we understand and will adapt

Mate, just being a normal bloke who wasn't in the crime life, try looking for work or studying after age 50. I found a job stacking boxes in the supermarket, but you're often the oldest person in the room by 20yrs. I can't imagine how hard it must be for guys with a record, tats, no education/experience. Must be tempting to fall back into those old roles that gave you power.

Thats it brother I lived in Melbourne as a white boy running in Asian gangs and in the end I smashed people, chop people and run drugs for them. One day i went f it all and left to W.A and I have a family now at 44 yrs old and I became a bonsai tree master. I lost everything when I was young my mum and dad died witch grew hate into me and joining a gang made me feel like I had a family again. It was all crap and I realised after 10 years and got out walked away. I so related to what you said cause it's how I think now and will till the end of my days. Could luck with your journey. I had to laugh when you did the Dandenong episode cause that jail house use went to I lived there for 6 months. Witch I commented on about a guy coming in with a shoot gun on us and we bashed him. But your a good guy family is what I live for now.

I understand my brother was a Newtown Erko boy he went through the same. From the homes to jail most of his young life was in jail and he would come out for a holiday then go back home. We got him away from there up to Qld and he got his life together but it's still a struggle for him. Hes institutionalised as well. He hasn't been back to jail since 2012. I'm proud of him.

This is exactly what I've been telling my son he's done 9 yrs in and out more in than out he's 27 and about to get parole for the last time I hope, his brothers have done well in life one believe it or not is a prison officer hoping to help change the system but everyone in the family hates him because he's a prison officer he's a good kid but they all hate him and his other brother who's a tradie because they are doing good in life and only worry about the ones that matter, my boy in prison is Soo proud of his brothers and I have saved this to show him that I'm not the only one who also believes this thankyou ❤ he's institutionalized to I'm praying we can get him through this his family is behind him 💯💯

I care Spanian!! You are a genuine, down to earth, good human being & an inspiration to so many. I was a partime functioning meth addict for 30 years n now 9 years clean & sober, I suffer from anxiety,m & depression bigtime & struggle to make it to work everyday although once I'm there I love it & thrive in my job. I truly believe from all the pot & alcohol in my teens n then on top of the meth, I've killed a few too many million braincells & although I've always been intelligent, I'm def not the sharpest tool in the shed & am often a sandwich short of a picnic. Drugs are poison & soul destroying PERIOD!! Thank God 🙏 I've always been upfront n honest with my kids (like you 👊 & at 16 & 21 they are anti drugs 🙌 Thankyou for keeping shit real & becoming the legend you are.
