@@hughjorg4008 I agree with it being the best line of the movie. Also I never really thought about it being getting permission for the everything. I always just thought about it being permission to take the one guy out, but your alternative makes so much more sense. He wouldn't need permission to defend himself, but he would need it to cross international lines to remove Pushkin.

I think he likes the character and sees McCall as someone we can admire and learn from. However, the second installment was not nearly as good, and now there's a third when I feel like Washington is past the age to be as believable doing this kind of role demanding such physical powers. I question the value of doing a third installment, and I don't think it serves the message we get very well from the first film.

The thing I loved about the original 1985-89 TV show was that McCall usually didn't take money as payment. But if he helped you, he may call on you at some future date, and you had to do whatever he asked of you. So basically, people he helped in one episode may show up again to do some minor, but necessary, action. Pay it forward.

No that was Stingray, a US action show from 1985 starring Nick Mancuso. He was a former Vietnam veteran and probably CIA spook with serious connections. His car was registered to the White House west coast car pool. He was the one who traded on favours. Get you out of a fix and one day come to you for help, usually involving helping a new "client" etc The original Equalise starring Edward Woodward ran from 1985 to 1989. I can't recall how or if he was paid. I think it was more along the lines of what you could reasonably afford and was frequently free of charge. Both Equaliser and Stingray were like one man A Teams.

This line is so underrated, no one talks about it, yet it's so powerful for me : "He didn't come for help. He came for permission." Gave goosebum every time. That meant Mr.MCall would know or get it done anyway without Susan's help. He just want to let the agency know who his next target is. If Puskin is one of the Agency's informants or "people", it would be a mess to suddenly kill him.

22:22 yes it will help, medicinal importance of honey has been documented in the world's oldest medical literatures, and since the ancient times, it has been known to possess antimicrobial property as well as wound-healing activity. The healing property of honey is due to the fact that it offers antibacterial activity, maintains a moist wound condition, and its high viscosity helps to provide a protective barrier to prevent infection. Its immunomodulatory property is relevant to wound repair too. The antimicrobial activity in most honeys is due to the enzymatic production of hydrogen peroxide. The medical grade honeys have potent in vitro bactericidal activity against antibiotic-resistant bacteria causing several life-threatening infections to humans.

@@Croweyes1121 I've always been curious about the editing. Not so much this movie, but a lot of the earlier ones, it struck me that the big reaction moments are all you need to tell the story. I don't know if it's the quality of the story telling of the film that makes it easy, or the editor was really selective in what reaction moments to use. I haven't seen a full-length reaction from Cassie, so I don't know what she's doing in the other moments. I watched some other react vids, and Cassie's are really good. It's not just her reaction, but it becomes a good synopsis video, too.

@@johnnybraccia452 Yeah, exactly. What makes Cassie’s videos so good is the editing style for sure. Her videos are better than others for many reasons, but one of the big ones is that their philosophy is that you should be able to follow the film watching the KZbin edits. That’s actually a tough balancing act as an editor, because you have to A. Get every major story beat in the film, B. Get all of Cassie’s big reactions (along with what she’s reacting TO), and C. Not let any shot last more than five seconds to get around copyright issues. It’s actually pretty intensive editing work, but it was a lot of fun once I got the hang of it. Lots of folks think Denzel took out the Russian with a nail gun. Sort of. What McCall was using is known as a "Ramset" nailer, which uses a .22 caliber blank to shoot short nails into concrete which holds metal wall framing track in place. It's all good with the action scenes but what I loved about this movie is how good Robert is at building relationships, and it makes the audience want to know these people better. ETA: This is one of the few stories where this type of villain (Slavi & the russians) really get what they truly deserve in Life. Another one is The Punisher: The SLavers storyline. Talk about carnage and well deserved, bloody retribution. Written by Garth Ennis (creator of The Boys). I hope (and at the same time I dread) that they adapt that one right someday, because Bernthal is great as the Punisher and he would totally tear that role up in that particular storyline.

Like I said though, those were just the movies that came to mind for me because I grew up watching them all my life, but I'm sure you'll love each and every one of them! As promised, here are my movie theme reaction recommendations for the story of King Arthur, like you did with Robin Hood! The following I recommend are: First Knight (1995) King Arthur (2004) The Sword In The Stone (1963) Excalibur (1981) Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975) First Knight stars Sean Connery and Richard Gere! King Arthur stars Clive Owen and Keira Knightley! The Sword in the Stone is a Disney animated film, one of the last Walt Disney personally worked on before he past away several years later, you'll love that one, it's one of my favorite classics next to Sleeping Beauty and I'M SHOCKED YOU NEVER SEEN IT LOL🤣 Excaliber is arguably one of the more accurate dipictions of the story of King Arthur and stars a young Liam Nesson and Helen Miren! Last but not least Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a British comedy spoof on the story with so many quotable one-liners and it's hilarious, I'm sure you might like it even if you don't understand the humor, but I think it's a classic! Hope you'll react to these movies some day, can't wait lol! Love and support to you and Carly as always, hope you made it home safely, you (and Carly) are the best, God bless you and Carly and the rest of the family, and as always [snaps fingers & winks] stay classy Cassie🥰😁😉👍🙏🌹
