The Smartest Leaders in the room make decisions based on the information they think they know; so often in the military, what they know is no longer correct or relevant, and the team suffers a poor decision. The Wisest Leaders in the room make decisions based on what they know they do not know; they are the ones who decide to ask for help, so that the team benefits from the correct decision.

I've been craving more long-form content from you! Would love to see more of these. But I know you're an incredibly busy human being, and you juggle with your own mental health/fitness at times. So I'd only want to see more if it's within your realm of possibility. Hope you're well, Simon. Stay safe.

Thank you! Trust is very important, when I read the book, Speed of trust...I was very determined to have a trustful relationship. Oops my partner resisted and got very irrational and called me insecure. Then I found out he was talking to other woman. "Trust" is such key! Know I always try to build it with whoever I meet. My now hubby is so trustworthy, I can go through all of his accounts and I will never find anything bad. Also it keeps everything in out relationship secure and functioning beautifully. With the other guy asking for something so small was always a big deal. Perhaps in the end we were maybe just not a match either. But knowing about trust would have saved us so much struggling! Everything is nice when its superficial and you keep it from being intimate and transparent! aka NO trust!

AT 4 minutes you speak of the holding oneself accountable. Often times, I find myself doing so and putting myself on the line and I a fight to ensure that I stay humble. In otherwords, I will put myself in front of my team to my superiors, own the mistakes of the organization, or advocate for my team in ways that I believe are right, but often put my job on the line. Does my team need to know that I do these things? Or do I continue to do this "alone" as you see? It's such a fine balance.

I disagree with the ida of having thick skin throughout my life I have met so many people who challenged me, criticized me to the point where I developed that thick skin. After all these criticisms I learned that there is also other side where you find harmony, peace , respect with people who love you and no criticism or being challenged ever necessary and that’s what is beauty of life to me a simple and pure mutual understanding with people who surround me with their vibrant and positive energy,

Well great talking Simon but pls don't be delusional "The Why" didn't work in the organization like army or police etc, not in large scale for sure (especially not at this current world), they basically are the pawn in chessboard... If u disagree, ask yourself how many times in history they turn back to their owner, leader whatever u want to call them and join the people? But still, I admire your idealistic and consistency.
