Polestar now has three EVs to sell in 27 countries. With the Backing of Geely and Volvo they will NOT be going bankrupt any time soon. Geely is also backed by the China government. Geely has a lot of great brands - Volvo Cars, Polestar, Lotus, LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company - which makes the London hydrid electric taxi and also hybrid vans.) Lynk & Co, ZEEKR, Farizon, RADAR, and Cao Cao Mobility, and other brands. Polestar has a great lineup of vehicles - their designs are much better looking than most other offerings from other auto makers. The new Polestar 3 is now being made in the USA so should qualify for EV tax incentives. Polestar plans to be profitable in 2025. Polestar delivered 54,626 cars in 2023, which was a 6% increase from 2022 - and that was just with one EV the Polestar 2. Now they have 3 compelling EVs in 2024. The refresh 2024 Polestar 2 is a much better car than the Gen 1 Polestar 2 which was front wheel drive (single motor version). The rear wheel drive makes it a much better drivers car according to auto journalists. The single motor 2024 Polestar 2 has great range and being a hatchback is a more practical than the Tesla Model 3. The Polestar 2 should qualify for the EV tax credits in the USA if you lease it. The new Polestar 3 which is being built in the USA now (as well as in China) should qualify for the $7500 EV tax credits.

Clearly you know nothing about the cars!! A class action lawsuit is heading their way in the USA for the 3 as the software is dire, the car is dangerous. The 4 in the UK is being returned by countless people due to safety issues and Polestars lack of ability to inform its customers as to when things will be fixed.

We aren't in the market for a BEV in that price bracket but I would definitely choose the Polestar over the Tesla. However, if I had even more budget I would prefer the Polestar 3 (probably)

looked at both.. still find the p4 a taf more refined than the p3… for eg i did prefer the onboard screen .. especially when using carplay (not yet available on the p3)… also liked the ceter rest more on the p4.. by far.

Polestar 4 DM LR Plus Pilot on order, delivery in Jan '25. Coming out of an Audi Quattro Q5 ICE, more on offer with P4 when comparing with Q6 ETRON, for less money. Drive and looks IMO is better too. Although the Q6 ETRON wins on practicality, I'm in England so with our god awful UK roads, the standard configurable dampers on the P4 I have on order is a plus. Yes, I may be having a mid-life crisis but having mainly owned Audi A6 ICE cars previously, with a few Jag's in the mix, the P4 is IMO the best blend between tech, looks, practicality, sustainability and price. Oh and I love the fact there's no rear screen, kudos to Polestar for doing something different. Tesla = Meh, refresh model Y or not.

Saw a P3 on the street a few days ago. It looked great but it's too expensive for me. The P4 is also a bit too expensive for me right now but it might work out better in a few years.

the Chinese version uses Auto Navi (高德） for navigation. Works pretty well and is actually the app I have on my phone for maps too.

I’ve been interested in getting an EV for a while and I found myself at the polestar showroom at Battersea Power station earlier this week. This car is stunning (but sadly out of my price range) and it’s also very big! The polestar 2 is much more in my price range and also looks fab but sadly my 6ft2 teenage son won’t fit in the back of it 😢

Have the polestar 2 for 2 years with 27k miles with no issues. Am seriously considering the P4 when the p2 is ready to go back. It is around £140 a month more I think on salary sacrifice. Wouldn’t touch the Tesla. No issue with the car just can’t stand Elon Musk 😂

A nice car, that's for sure. But with a starting price of 59k euro in the NL, they are 10k too expensive for the European market. The new Tesla Model Y, XPeng G6, BYD Sealion 7 and Zeekr 7x will outsell the Polestar.Therefore it will not be a succesfull model here, unless they change their strategy.

the cars you mention are not drivers cars in the same league as Polestar. Different target group and different price. Zeekr is the closest but still not in the same quality range.

Hello, all the brands and models your mentioned are EV but compete in another (lower) segmente than a Polestar. This brand stand in a premium segment, where the cars are usually great, but more expensive: BMW is more expensive than Opel, nevertheless they are both german.
