This is kind of a relative thing, but it's something I like in old MMOs too, since I'm that kind of trash. Like I said it's relative, but you just starting off as a fresh newbie adventurer, a farmer with his father's sword, a neophyte of the church, etc etc makes it feel like the world is so much bigger than you are and the main hook of the genre - adventuring with other people - feels all the more compelling because you'll need all the help you can get. Nowadays thanks to the move to more singleplayer stories and the continuous escalation over the years your characters are champions of the world or captains of the whatever before they even get a few levels under their belt and it feels a lot less special.

Gran vídeo broo owo, y sii El arquetipo de everyman es uno que pega más con el pasar del tiempo, recuerdo que antes con personajes con juegos como personajes de juegos como persona o twewy podía decir "chale, tienen pedos personales igual que yo" y si bien hoy en día ya no me relaciono tanto con ellos como antes (aunque aún les tengo cariño) ya uno como a mitad de sus 20s se relaciona más con personajes como ichiban o frank west, y el como ellos hacen lo mejor que pueden en su día a día

I'm not sure if everyone is going to agree with this example, actually being everyman. But for me, an everyman character I like is Jim Raynor from Starcraft. Because one: in spite of both having to fight against various factions, both bigger and more powerful than him and his own personal flaws, he still tries to do the right thing even if it's difficult, and also brings a more grounded POV to the Starcraft's world (e.g. the first terran campaign in SC1 does just that) and two: I just think he's cool.
