I would love to see wagons, carriages, horses, wells, bandits/raiders, security recruits, defensive walls, and look out towers. I think it would make for a more immersive experience of medieval living. Also a hierarchy system for your town, such as appointing town officials and guards.

@@frankbailey defenses are always cool made very elaborate defenses in The Forest or made some really epic castles in minecraft or even AOE defenses man the things u could do in AOE was hilarious i made a minature constantinople as i was forced to leave my homeland in aoe and had to resettle and became a major trade hub and made more than enough money to buy any res i needed and then slowly took back everything and destroyed my enemies as my economy was way to strong for them

So I figured this out kage talking to them about their job is the best way to talk to them their stats tell what their job is. like if they farmers talk to them about a how hard work is

What I do is I hit F5 (Quicksave) just before I speak to them. If they don't like the line of questioning I reload and try a different question. Rinse & repeat until you reach 70% then ask them to join your village. You 've probably already figured this out by now.

In one of the towns you didnt visit yet there is someone that sells a fishing spear. This allows you to fish apparently.

I mean it's historically accurate that 95% of towns were along rivers that we're both used to help irrigation and make transportation of goods Easier by boat or raft, just look at places like Constantinople or Rome or any other of the ostrogoth Villages at the time. Unfortunately there isn't any rafts or boats or such that would make the transportation of goods much easier for selling

i chose to build my village right next to the UNSTUCK teleport, took some time to get started, but being able to completely overload myself, then teleport home is AWESOME!

Kage the best money maker ive found is making and selling hats from straw, easy to collect not too heavy and they sell for a decent amountjust make sure you unlock the flat top one it sells for more than the regular one. it also boosts your crafting way better than tools.

Horses are coming, check the farming skill to see the equestrian stuff not yet in game. It takes forever to thresh the wheat/rye into grain to remove stolen status. When you steal tools/weapons, just equip to hot bar, pull out the tool and switch to another to remove red theft status. No damage to the tool needs to be done. You can also save, reload, and all those items return. Endless gold if wanted.

I hope the devs give us more variety in the look of the villages and the clothing of the villagers. It can be hard to tell them apart. I’d like to see them equip clothing appropriate to the task they’ve been assigned . Early access I know, but I hope the devs have it planned.

Another tip, you should get any person you can to join your camp in Medieval Dynasty, because you can always get rid of anyone you dont want by removing there place to live in the housing assignments

if you walk out of town and go straight up till the point you get a left turn into the woods, You will find around those crossroads a humungous load of stones keep that crossroad as a reference and draw a circle around it of 20-30 meter. This is just before the other bridge over the water. and I got 40 stones in summer in no time. Just look at the ground when collecting, brown-black stones sometimes lay on plants and they stick out on that as well between the berry bushes on the left side of that road.

You can steal from a village but you just cant sell the stolen goods back to them. Take it to another village and sell. You get mega $$$

Just equipping it removes the stolen tag. Saves you from running to the next town. Will probably get fixed, so use it while you can.

Food has a freshness bar, if you keep food in the food storage the freshness wont got down from what I've noticed. Only take what you need keep the rest is the food storage for your village.

Lots of stone is in the starting zone. If you forgot where that is just hit "Unstuck" and it teleports you to that starter area. I found tons of stone there.

roam into the forest just like 100-200m in, usually there are 8-12 rocks with just one step apart in small clusters around either a tree or around some bigger stones, and it seems they spawn back over night. I basically got 5-6 spots around my house I go to every day for a daily sale of 60-80 stone knifes or so

You need stone? Find the mine and build a smithy at the entrance. From your location it is between south and southwest. More southwest. Its in the moutain range to the east of the lake between Denica and Gostovia. If you find it there is stone iron and salt.

Ive noticed, if you steal an item then equip it then use it one time it will be sellable. The whole "stolen" thing is removed. If you see this, try it out. It worked for me. Got plenty for all those tools.

an easy trick, as u run across the landscape, look slightly to the ground...and keep mashing the key E...u get a lot of rocks, branches and some plants...in no time you will have around 500 rocks...lol

You can actually sell the tools you steal!, You just have to equip them and take them out ( I put them on my hotbar and just press 1-9 key) You don't even have to reduce the durability on them either

True, I was about to comment this. I take them all assign them to 1-9 on hoy key, use my mouse wheel to scroll through them. Removed theft tag. Sold to guy with the cows on other side of pallisades.

There's lots of great places to build. Upgrade your stamina, I can run across the map in a few minutes. No need to be near the starter town. All the town's have several people to buy and sell to and they all offer quests.

if you get iron and sticks you can make iron hammers and sell for $70 each hold about 15 on you at a time without being slowed down

Winter is the best season to get money. Stone knifes are the best, you can easily craft 100 in one day just wandering around 1st village

If you haven't already, take the time to sort out the spoiling food, and low condition items. Sell especially if you're not going to use anyway, that reduces any waste of time, effort, resources and gains some money.

As far as recruiting people with specific stats i think it would be wise to check the towns that specialize in those skills, like for a miner for excavating you may have better luck on stats in hornica where you get the pick from.

There is a cave in the central northern part of the map. Take a pick axe. Plenty of rock, iron and salt.

You just have to go south a bit towards the mountain, in the forested areas there is tons of rocks everywhere. Also you can do an excavation shed and assign someone or put a lvl 1 resourse by the mine, mine them and put them in chest for back home. I have 5 stone houses just from number 1 on this list

So if you buy a pickaxe, you can get massive amounts of stone from the caves!!!! If you just want to sell raw resources, you can sell between 700-1000 straw from just grabbing reeds and make $1000 very quickly. You CAN use the sythes, on your own farming and since they're $600 each, they're very worth it!

If you equip the stolen item in your quick slot, it removes its stolen identity. @4:18 notice how he equipped it and it no longer shows as Stolen(red) in his inventory.

St. John’s wart and broadleaf plantains are the way to go for money. Knives are okay but you can find patches of them everywhere. It’s pretty broken.

Hey there Kage, I found that if your looking for stone, after you find one look right around the same spot. There are usually 6-8 within a couple steps. I had super issues with the plantains until the skill. GG on the videos mate. Have fun😎😎😎

ez way to make a lot of stone knives is to just take a few hundred sticks up to the cave in the south along with a pickaxe. drop the sticks on the ground inside the cavve, then mine the rock deposits to get tons of stone/salt/iron. turn the stones into knives and run back to town to sell. another way to make some money is to steal the scythes you stole, equip one, cut a few of the NPC's crops to damage the scythe a small amount. Once damaged it will not register as stolen anymore so you can then sell it to a vendor. Same goes for any stolen tool.

Not sure if you cover this in episode 11 or not... but it looks like the devs improved the visuals for rocks and plantains. For some reason I was seeing them clearly last night. Rocks are now a brownish/red color, and plantains have brown stalks on them. Both are now recognizable from the green terrain in summer/spring. Subtle change, but incredibly helpful! I love this game

What i did with the stone issue. Get a pickaxe and that first village we go to there is so much stone to farm from and sticks to make alot of axes or knives its also right next to the shop keep so it so fast and efficient to make loads of money.

You've said a number of times that you need to build near the first village. However, you can use the unstuck function in the esc menu to teleport a couple hundred meters from there

Hey. Haven’t read all the comments but just in case....for hunting if you crouch you can get very very close to animals. I usually end up one shotting deer with a wooden spear to the head or neck.

the most stone i've got in that game is from the south-east of the map around that town (i forgot how it's called), or you can go to a forest that doesn't have a lot of vegetation, yesterday i was playing and i wanted to buy a pickaxe from that town smith and on the way there i've found lots of stone (it doesn't matter the season because there stones are super big and you can distinguish them because the soil is brownish and the stone is mossy), unfortunately i had to drop all the stones because i was carrying 30 kg of stone and i was super encumbered, but a good strategy (if it is true, i never tested) could be to build a resource container building if it has shared inventories and pick up as much stone as you want and then drop it in the container, also around that south side of the map there is a cave with a lot of stone and maybe iron, and there are bears too, you can make a living in there eating bear meat and create as many stone knives and sell those in the neighbourhood. I have played this game for 3 days straight, it is so detailed and fun to progress, i just can't imagine how cool it is gonna be when it is out of early access with all the skills that are work in progress to work properly. dayum

i built my town on the left side of the starting town (west) near a bridge,, it has a sign next to the bridge and i build around it and it also has a nice looking tree right next to the sign around the roads... so i think it looks nice :P ( just follow the west road until you see a bridge and a sign if you want to see the location i'm talking about)

An easy way to make money is to go to the town that the pickaxe is sold. There you can find a bunch of logs thrown on the ground everywhere, just steal them all when no one is watching, make firewood and sell them.. Made a quick 1.5k by doing that without having to leave the town

The perfect town location is as close to your starting spot as possible, then u can use ESC unstuck to teleport home

Simply sell Seeds which you'll get from your Farmer or Feathers and Leather from your Hunter and so on ... easy Money. Later when you have the tavern, food can be sold there, etc etc

Also I've notice that your rye turned white when you put it into a storage (ahh nope, pardon). I did that trick in another game. Put in chest or just throw on a ground from your inventory and when I took it back it was no more flagged as "stolen". But making of it another stuff is definitely the way)

The forest before the town you goto during the Uniegost quest that has you collecting 40 logs has stone laying around everywhere. I got a lot of stone there.

easiest way to make money and get your survival skill up ("survivalist" skill you'd DEFINATELY want!!) is to pick St. John's Wart. it's very light weight (0.1), you can pick up several before becoming encumbered, and you can see it with the survival sense or "inspector mode" with the skill purchased. picking this plant doesn't require holding the "E" button to get, and it sells for 2 coin per piece. if you want (need) TONS of meat, go just north of the southern-most town that is between the mountains, though BEWARE, be confident with your wooden spear throwing.. LOTS of wolves and wisents.

"We need horses". Have a look at your technology tree... (farming I believe, tier 3 or 4) You might want to break your promise of marrying that lady. I were to happy with my 6-skill workers, until I saw that my wife (recruited from a "proper" villager, i.e not one that was available) and she had 10 in skill :o

You can sell the scthye just equip it then use it then the red goes away, then you can sell them rinse and repeat for each scthye
