If the stars fall to the earth it means they are smaller than the earth and not thousands of times bigger as shown in the wicked copernican heliocentric (sun centered) astronomy by the lying academia and media. When studying the model of the copernican heliocentric astronomy in which the earth is portrayed as a globe, the sun is relatively fixed at distance of 93 million miles away from the earth (for if the earth were only a little closer or farther from the sun life on earth would be impossible). Also, from pictures of the earth from NASA and Hubble space telescope we see that regions of the earth's surface not facing the sun or away from sunlight are in darkness thus are in shade as typical. For if an object is exposed to a light source, the region of that object not facing nor exposed to the light experiences shade (darkness) and can never have light as the regions of the object facing and exposed to the light source. In following what should be observed if the copernican heliocentric model were true; when the sun is well below the horizon, that is, when we are supposedly well carried away from the sun by the earth's rotation that we should back the sun and be well hidden from sunlight - our sky should now be the typical night sky (as seen in official NASA footages). However in observing reality, many atimes the sky is still bright and blue even when the sun (the light source is well below our horizon. Walking through St Louis Art Museum I see a big relief carving from an Assyrian palace at Nimrud, Iraq. I had no idea this was one of the apkallu. Would have had no idea a year ago. The things we are not taught in Sunday school. Thank you for the education and sharing.

Wow, what a great description of the modern fundamentalist Baptist KJV-only church in which I was raised. I left it as a young adult in the 1980's because I had so many loose ends that didn't fit their narrative. It took nearly 40 years, but in Michael Heiser (and Chuck Missler) I've had so many questions answered and suspicions validated. I loved "Unseen Realm", it was life and faith changing for me.

You’ve expressed what many who left the church felt. We didn’t leave God or Jesus, we left because we weren’t being taught; however I’m more forgiving because through Mike’s teachings, I realize our church leaders weren’t taught either, and that’s been perpetuated for eons….intentionally.

I've been reading for a year, the Bible lit up while I was reading psalms and almost walked away because it was great and terrifying. Holy spirit then had me go to exodus, I read until they went into the wilderness. I myself had a week of deliverance that week. Exciting and terrifying

God could have conquered Egypt for them and saved them a trip but instead the holy land had to be the "beach head." Interesting how Canaan, and possibly Jerusalem by implication, were so important that God specifically wanted to remove them from Egypt to go there.

If I may, Torah was continually and recursively updated, UNTIL it was found in the desert and Wilderness. The true Torah is a complete bit mapping of the human mind, divested of a homeland. Heiser really is the best Christian theologian I have seen, as he intuits that Supersessionism is really disguised tribal greed. And the work he has done for the Judaeo-Christian tradition is just now coming to light for Islam. Sadly, there is no middle ground protection offered by Islam. It bubbles up in the lesser writings, as jinn and irit and other incompletely described "shimmering" entities. Zohar=Zahir.

Terrific exhortation. I would very much like to add the importance of Genesis 47:12-26, as Joseph, the 2nd in command in Egypt, takes a page out of Jacob’s tricks book by putting together his plan which led to the oppression of the Egyptian people while his family flourished, which led to the threat they became, which caused a future Pharaoh to put the children of Israel in bondage, which eventually culminated in the Exodus. For starters, when Joseph was tossed into the pit, it was Judah, who was the line that Jesus came from, who suggested they sell Joseph into slavery to passing Ishmaelites. After Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dream of the 7 years of plenteous crops followed by 7 years of famine, he deliberately withheld that information from the Egyptian people to allow them to plan for the 7 years of drought. Joseph was the one and only one who sold the preserved grains to people seeking to buy, as evidenced by him identifying his brothers when they came to buy. Yet, in Genesis 47, we learn that him and his family are bread but there was no other bread to be eaten in all the land of Egypt. He then sold corn to the people until they had no more money. Joseph then took their animals and then their land, much the way his father sold a bowl of red pea soup to his brother for his birthright. Joseph kicked the money up the Pharaoh, but his family of shepherds took the animals. He then took the lands of the Egyptians, enslaving them and having pay 20% of their earnings. Therefore, he swindled them by taking all of their money, their animals and their land, and made them pay 20% of their earnings, which undoubtedly oppressed the people, which may have caused the next generation or two to produce at a far lower rate than the children of Israel. This was all part of God’s master plan.

Good stuff! The war in heaven didn't end with Satan's expulsion. It was just a change of venue for the battle which continues here on earth. All part of the Plan of Salvation. Conversion vs Compulsion. How will you use your agency here and now?

The war in heaven happened when Jesus took the throne eventually after he was resurrected. That is one part of his two part prophecy when he told us to pray for God's kingdom to come. The "as it is in heaven" part is when God's heavenly kingdom is restored when Jesus took the throne and the "on earth" part happens when the heavenly kingdom comes here, which is Armageddon.

I wish I could ask this man specific questions about the textual analysis for science we can use and DO NOT currently have. In the English, I want your take on "offering strange fire before the Lord," and why it brought death. I am holding back the Crown of Creation because the Priesthood failed to update its purpose, and posting mock ups of a Tesla death ray would be not good. It is always easier to make weapons than tools. Easier to use them too. Was it a "competition" with God, this strange fire? Also, why the heck is bdellium mentioned in the rivers flowing from Eden, along with other precious metals and stones? Eden is clearly the favor of Abel over Cain, as NOBODY wants to do the dirty work when meat and the pomp and circumstance of sacrifice can be valued. God gave the Earth a Man to till it, and Woman is the pathway to greed. And the pursuit of money and feasting over the slow food of the Earth is how cities are built. In Babylonian exile, what was the diet of Daniel and his Interpreters? Azazel is a good alter ego, no? Jacob had to go to see the people in slavery to a false God. They get complacent and mate too much. But even as they err, He looks for ways out FOR them, by moving time and other elements in the system around. Inequity, it seems that the DC/Silicon Valley Tower of Babel has as a goal. I am eager to build on a new shore. And they are being dealt with.

It doesn’t cost money to watch his videos, although many, like this one are from his classes which are amazing. You can get a free app to his Naked Bible Podcast, but if you do, I recommend clicking on, on New to Dr Heiser’s DCW, Divine Council Worldview. You can also put in the search engine, topics and may find more material you’re looking for. I highly suggest, writing down questions you may have as you go. I’ve been listening about 5 years now. His NBPodcast are great. You can print copies as well. MIQLAT is his newsletter, you can check him out there also at his nonprofit.

Higgins suggests over the last 8 years and all the pieces have fell together. I have the opposite problem I have the money but, I am extremely slow and would fall way behind in a class. Dr. Heiser, ty for all you do, I've learned so much truth from you & I'm grateful. I would like your perspective on who exactly YHWH actually is in regards to any correlating other gods. Obviously, He us called the Most High Supreme God in various parts of the Bible, but also in the Sumerian Tablets. The other correlation is whom Enoch walked with is considered to be the same being, correct? If this is safely accurate, then wouldn't this being be Anu, father of the Annunaki & the sky god/god of the heavens? I'm extremely curious for your take on this, & corrections if I'm wrong about any of it, & possibly an elaboration on who YHWH is & why you believe as such.

Closest would be Enlil, as Enlil causes the flood in the Sumerian/Akkadian flood account yet Enki is supposed to have played a bit of a part. Enki though in Samuel Kramer's Enmerkar tale is the one that caused mankind to babble and change languages, he is the Devil I think and the Sumerians seemed to have a distorted account.

@@GodsBeforeHim According to his actions at Babel in Samuel Noah Kramer's tale of Enmerkar and the Lord of Arrata, he would be the closest match to Satan, as he was the one that caused the tongues to change. He is more neutral in the flood account. However, again I think the Sumerians, had accounts that were adapted to the Annunaki and things were lost in transition. I think Enki has more deeds which match up to Satan, also in the 'tale of Adapa' , he is the one who instructs Adapa not to eat food for eternal life.

The plagues were not because God plagued them in exodus. It was not because Moses went and said that it would happen. It was because of the leaders heart. God stiffened his neck to deal with the plagues, however he was softening his heart. That was what caused the plagues a hard heart. The world kinda has a hard heart in today's world. Soften your heart and God will work things out.
