Sometimes, people that are just experiencing quality hearing do that.. I didn't know how to pronounce a lot of famous people's names until I could finally hear them said on TV at the age of 51.. I was an English major, so most other words weren't difficult.. When you rely on Closed Captions for years, it's weird hearing things for the first time.. Like the sound of voices, etc..
