In case you missed, you can also make casings by placing stripped logs on conveyor belt and use pokers (that hand things) above the belt, and that way is much fasters. And in this room , I'd like to make sequence assembly for polishing the rose quartz, polishing take lot of time by hand.

While I would love to see how you handle an emergency food flatory (something that could use all of that bone meal you've been making)... That's it! Your next Flatory should be something that either uses the bonemeal, or something that could be used to fuel your bonemeal flatory, or perhaps both? Something like a hidden apple farm, you supply it with bone meal, it plants saplings, harvests the tree, then you get apples for your composter/bonemeal maker and logs for your other flatories. Maybe some switches that lets you switch what type of trees you want the logs of... probably would need a way to harvest all of the leaves as I don't think spruce or birch give apples...

Using a belt could replace the drill and 2nd deployer to place the stripped logs. You can use a deployer directly on a belt to make casings out of the stripped logs on the belt. I also build in a saw mill to automatically strip the logs before getting cased. Only problem might be the train casings in that case, which could be clogged up by wood that way and can't pass the saw mill, but in general a much easier way to combine it without having to rely on timings.
@ctom4242
@ctom4242 Жыл бұрын
Great video. You have a lot of space above those flateries, you could add a switch to the log stripping one that changed it from storing stripped logs to sending them up and over to the casing machine. You can also add a filter to the stripping machine so only items that can be sawed can go through, which would allow it to still work for planks and shafts.

@SapphireManakete
@SapphireManakete Жыл бұрын
@senseiplay8290 it's not really complicated at all and would perfectly fit in with the flat factory style. All you need to do is connect a gear to the belt that feeds into the saw, then add a second gear to that to power the saw, and it'll naturally rotate in the opposite direction. Then just encase the gears so the look like the back wall of the flat factory.

Something about Minecraft mods, specifically ones made in forge (at least originally), fluids can't have properties when placed in the world unless they're made to count as equivalent to either water or lava in every way, except for their texture. This often has unintended consequences, and that's why lots of fluids don't interact with anything in the world

The bonemealer could perhaps be combined with a kelp farm/smelter. Put the smelter on one side, the bonemealer on the other, and inbetween grow the kelp. Perhaps a decorative mural of the ocean floor or riverbed in the back and some fish, a couple mechanical arms for decoration at the top (rabbit ears), and a couple buttons on the frame to make that flattery look like a (old-timey?) television. Could name it the Livestream.
