🎉 Jesus, thank you Greg for putting your body on the line just to give us an action intro. I saw exactly when you hit your head and I cringed. But then you had to expertly manage to spray yourself in the eyes with Biofreeze. But you went through it anyway. Seriously, Greg please be careful next time. Love you man and thank you again for putting your body on the line.❤❤

😊 I’m not sure if this is gonna come off right but anyway it’s always a positive. This feels like a Ryan Gosling movie. It’s very much like how I felt with the good guys. It’s Ryan at his quirky best😊
@francisco_m78496 ай бұрын
1:15:57 sorry Greg one more thing😂. The actual plot of the movie is pretty simplistic, but then again when you look at the bad guys and everything that led up to them hiring cult back to cover their asses, they are essentially stupid. They are not brainiacs. They’re just trying to cover their asses and they did it in a very bad way. So obviously everything is going to break down super fast for them and for me that was OK cause it was really more about Ryan and Emily.

I personally was bored during it, the comedy didn't work for me and I wasn't at all interested in the love story. First reaction to this already?! Well alright. I watched the tv series (1981-1986) by Glen A. Larson; creator of so many other classics like Battlestar Galactica, Knight Rider and Magnum P.I. I first heard about an adaption over a decade ago with Dwayne Johnson involved and I thought it was never going to happen. The first trailer was mind-blowing and i was all in. Pretty much a movie within a movie with slight realism. Good cast, Ryan Gosling (Colt) & Emily Blunt (Jody) have great chemistry. I can't believe they even had the same GMC pick up truck from the show, so happy. The story is as high-powered as it's hilarious and not just a tv series becoming a film. Stuntwork during the filmmaking sequences and action sequences of the core story are as phenomenal as imagined. A much-needed love letter to the stunt industry itself and how much it's given to blockbuster films. Passion project for dir. Leitch who came from that side of Hollywood. A Guinness World Record was set for the most cannon rolls performed in a car while making this movie (beach driving sequence). Seeing Lee Majors & Heather Thomas (the og Colt & Jody) in this made me spaz the f*** out. The Unknown Stuntman (Fall Guy theme) by Blake Shelton was sung by Majors himself for the tv series. Good movie and a good start to the summer of 2024.

36:04 the sound effect when he jumps is from a TV show called "The Six Million Dollar Man" where Lee Majors played a cyborg, and that effect was played when he jumped. Later Majors played Colt Seavers, on the TV show "The Fall Guy" -- the source material for this movie.

@49:00 its not a plot hole (in the movie that is) they make a point to put the body on ice to throw off when the time of death would be, so they suggest he died when Cole was in the city.
@chazzerous6 ай бұрын
Yeah it’s not really a plot hole, but it’s also not a foolproof plan because the stunt guy has also disappeared for longer than Colt has been in the country and Ryder would have to also explain why he disappeared at the same time the stunt guy did.
@travistaylor29805 ай бұрын
That's because he's Ryder's personal stuntman, and if Ryder is a no-show, the stuntman is a no-show. And all Ryder has to claim he was having a dispute with Gail or something. Then just say Colt showed up all high and killed that guy. The rest they literally say in the film.

Seeing the original COLT and JODY (Lee Majors and Heather Thomas) back on screen together after all these years was a nice touch at the end. In the original show they weren't lovers, he was the veteran stuntman and she was his protege who sometimes helped him with his side gig as a bounty hunter. Even with all the tonal changes, they definitely did the old show justice.
