@Abilliph Жыл бұрын
@@onaematopia "am" means only a nation or a people. For example... Am Israel is the nation (or people) of Israel. The ending ish in English.. is the ending -i in Hebrew. Like in Israeli, or Angli (English person), or Shvedi (Swedish person). I think Afghanistan means land/place of the Afghani people. Land in Hebrew would be " 'erets".. like " 'erets Israel"= land of Israel. Jews live mainly in the USA and Israel today. Those in USA speak English, some Hebrew, and the more religious communities speak Yiddish. All the Jews living in Israel speak Hebrew.. with very few that also know Yiddish. So I would say Jews speak mostly Hebrew and English now. Happy to answer if you have more questions..

There was uncertainty on what to call the country, Zion, Judea or Israel. Thus anticipating the declaration of independence on the close of the British mandate, the postal service printed a brownish stamp with the words in Hebrew only - "Doar Ivri", that is Hebrew Post. I swapped stamps and gained two stamps of this kind as a kid and clearly remember this, as I was learning Hebrew at my Jewish day school in Johannesburg, South Africa. I tired of my stamp collection and gave it away believing it was comprised of nothing more than worthless colourful stamps issued by places such as Seychelles and Liechtenstein. Many years later I attended a dental appointment. I picked up a magazine on philately and paged through to find the entry on this very same "Doar Ivri" stamp. It informed these stamps were printed but never issued. That the postal service was able to bring out stamps marked Israel in Henrew, Arabic and English. As such these stamps were the most valuable ever printed in Israel, going at $75,000 a stamp on the market.

the concept of "There is just just god, his angels, and everything else is a prank" monotheism is a fully modern western concept... In old Judaism and Christianity before the 1500s, and even today with Islam you find many adherents who do not fearlessly deny the existence of other gods. Rather they explain them as evil spirits, some powerful to a near godly amount.. but not as powerful as _the_ god. Echos of this old attitude towards polytheism by Abraham religions resonates via tales of the trickster devil. old monotheism isn't the denial that other gods exist! Rather it is shunning them rather than incorporation as was the style in pre-Abrihamic regions around the Mediterranean.
@peruamorrortubarrenetxea53004 жыл бұрын
There is a name for that kind of religious belief: it's called henotheism, a type of religion that believes there exists a God, more powerful and worthy o worship than the others, while not denying those other Gods exists. As far as I know, Judaism didn't cease to be henotheistic until at least 6th century BC.

As far as I knew as a Muslim, Quran never mention other deity than Allah as evil spirit, evil spirit you meant is another of His creation, like Djinn or Devil that manipulate mankind to fulfill their goal, which is to bring as many human as possible to go down to hell with them. But Quran clearly mentioned that those other deity, is just human creation to sort of 'maintain' their own status quo in society. For example, in the story of Pharaoh in the time of Moses, that declare himself as God just to show his pride and that he can do what he wants and nothing will get in his way, but God kind of show him that he just another human that can be beaten by other ordinary human being, which is Moses, whose belong to Jew community that considered as low class citizens at that time. Nowadays, that kind of deity other than God even expands more in term of understanding. They are not only in a shape of an idol, but also in the shape of treasure/money, throne (or power to rule) and even your spouse. In general, something that you love more than God and made you obsessed and in the end forgot your own role as human by canibalizing others

The entire problem with the bible vs. outside sources is this: The outside sources are Biased. The inside sources are Biased. In the Sennacherib tribute that was found...it largely matches what the bible says regarding Jerusalem and Hezekiah. They differ on the amount Hezekiah offered. Historians will openly tell you that outside sources like the Sennacherib tribute, they exaggerated details to make them look better. They also will not openly tell you that the bibles account is more accurate, even in this instance. Rehoboam/rehav'am didn't lose the north because of the Egyptians necessarily. He lost the Northern kingdom because he was an asshat toward them. Another problem entirely is the Archaeologists. They found statues of other G-D's found all over the Northern Kingdom areas. They then state "This is proof that the Israelites worshiped multiple G-D's and this totally goes against the bibles viewpoint". They did find similar statues in the area of Judah but nowhere near as many. The problem here is that the Archaeologists viewpoint doesn't take the bible seriously at all. In fact, it's largely ignored at this point due to Archaeologists from 60 years ago only using the bible as truth. So now they don't consider it at all lol. The bible openly states that the Israelites(Northern Kingdom) worshiped multiple G-D's all throughout it's history. The Archaeologists largely group the northern kingdoms and southern kingdoms together in this detail. We know through historical fact and Archaeology that there was in fact 2 separate kingdoms yet they continually conflate the two. While the bible can be biased for sure...it still has important factual detail that IS correct. I find that using multiple sources is the best way to really see the picture accurately but I don't recommend shoving the bibles account out of the picture entirely or entirely agreeing with the Archaeologists. You do a decent enough job in your video either way! Although, Ahaz of Judah openly became a tributary of Assyria for help against Israel and it's alliance with Aram. Ahaz's son tried to do the opposite.

It seems the main problem with the Jewish state is that they seem to not believe in the need for a national government and prefer to be a loose confederation of tribes. And this is why like the Hellenic Greeks they were always easy targets for their neighbors to dominate. The Jewish people should have united under some kind of high-king who makes decisions with the council of the representatives of the leading noble families. This would ensure that the interest of the Jewish people are served - and most importantly have at least a core of a professional army. It seems clear that this was never possible and thus the Jewish people had to rely on an amateur army of untrained peasants with little chance of victory. Hence why Isreal which should actually be centered around the Jordan valley basin and include the modern state of Jordan as part of a single state instead of two.

@@sophiawilson8696 As For ÉL some clearly have identified ÉL with Goth,Gott,God,Zott…while some with BaaL,BaL,BeL,Bul or in some of our names it clearly appears as Ódin which would explain why Garden of Eden is named as such since Edin,Eden is another variation of name Ódin which initially like ÉL was seen as Ancient Spirit and not a physical human like figure which where actually the Guardian of Garden which was created by Spirit. The other name is IsTen,IsTan,OsTan which corresponds to the word God,Gott,Goth,Zott that has its own variations as Tian in Asia predominantly in today China but again it existed in Ancient Egypt. None of this names or concept seems to correspond with Jewish-Islamic Lah or Jah as being a name of God since this are a later traditions that mixed up basic things where Énki or English I am or French Je Suise or Some SLav Ja Sam …have become Ja with a silent H without Sam or Am somehow Lah.

Because African Americans are not Hebrews/Yehudim/Israelites all the Hebrew Israelites are just confused Christians using replacement theology and revisionism of history to push their narrative
