I'm so glad you highlighted the amazing work SeaWorld do. It gets such a bad reputation and actually they do so much good. I like the little counter on the way in that says how many animals they've helped. We love feeding the rays and seal lions when we visit x

Seeing Jackson interact with the dolphins makes my heart happy! Especially since I personally love dolphins so fricken much. Ever since seeing the dolphin show at the shed aquarium in Chicago when I was around Jackson's age. He is gonna remember these trips forever.

Thank you for showing some appreciation to this great park that is met with so much negativity even though it is somehow pretty full most of the time. I think Discovery Cove is the best park in Orlando by far but Seaworld is pretty awesome also. I pretty much walk onto Mako every time I go and it a great coaster that is on par with Velocicoaster and Hagrids. I could watch Dolphins and Orca's all day long. I've been fortunate enough to see Orca's a few times in the wild the last couple years in the PNW.
@piinkkranger2 жыл бұрын
Agreed. People tend just focus on the negative things from past sea world (that was acceptable back then that obviously as we learned things became not acceptable and they’ve been doing things to grow away from that). People don’t ever look at all the good that sea world does for rescue and conservation.

I love your vlogs x Not so keen on seeing animals in very small tanks when they have oceans to explore x Sea World was my starting point of my love of Orca’s Now I can’t justify them being in captivity after seeing them in the wild Everyone must make there own mind up how to spend there hard earned cash 💰 Jackson is growing really quickly I love to see his progress Love from Northern Ireland x🤗😘🌼

Aawwww that's amazing that they have a Sesame Street character with autism. My daughter recently got diagnosed with autism and ADD and it made us realize how little is still known about these disorders and how judgemental people still are of the things they 'can't see'. Even in the family we've heard things like 'she doesn't look autistic', 'everybody has a little autism', 'you don't need to "label" every child', 'but she seems so smart, though' .... like...I mean... these are hurtful and even just plain stupid! So I love how they spread awareness! It is much needed! And thank you guys for spreading awareness too!

Jackson is too young to do this right now, but at 8 or 9, he may be interested in the CIMI (Catalina Island Marine Institute) off the port or Long Beach. It's a camp that focuses on teaching children about marine life. Hopefully he'll always be interested in water and animals. You guys are doing such a great job introducing Jackson to many new things! Love this. I love what Sea World is doing to rescue and educate. Once while scuba diving I had a fish pull my hair tie out of my braid. He then swam off. I chased that fish in and out of coral (didn't touch it) until I could get that tie out of his mouth. We have never been diving when we have not come up after a dive with our pockets full of trash we pick up off the bottom. Even on boats way out in the ocean we find things.

That is such a cool fact about the sting ray and shark's teeth, and how they're n a "conveyor" - never knew that! LOVE the dolphins - always wanted to swim with them. Just like seeing Jackson and Pluto recently, my heart is MELTED watching him run to hug Elmo, Grover, etc. - such unbridled joy and affection!! :) I actually got goosebumps watching Jackson interact with Sasha the Dolphin! Been watching the Zoo series on Disney Plus, and they show the manatee rescues/hopefully returns to wild - so inspi8ring! Socially distanced hugs to the 3 of you from New Jersey. Stay strong, stay positive, stay healthy!

Jackson was awesome today! Not many kids his age would be so excited and willing to grab fish and feed sea lions and dolphins. But I have to admit, seeing him break into a sprint to hug Elmo was the cutest thing ever. I live near Seattle and we have a number of Orca pods in Puget Sound. When you come here to take an Alaska cruise, you can take whale watching tours before or after the cruise. And you can take some great wildlife tours on the cruise. I've gone three times on Holland America. Once I went on a hydrofoil boat ride and we ended up drifting around with a macro pod of Orcas, near 100 was the wildlife guide.

That was a really fantastic and sobering story there at the end about the Killer Whales. Thanks for taking the time to pass it on, Tim. In other news, I'm firmly in the "Jackson and Jen" camp and am too squeamish to feed a ray properly. They just weird me out. I congratulate Tim on his bravery in letting them snarfle up the food so close up.
