The Famous Morisqueta //Costillas en chile / rice with braised pork Ribs ❤️❤️

The Famous Morisqueta is a dish i was introduced to many years ago when we were visiting Michoacan Mexico, and i was hooked. The delicious combination of the steamed rice with the saucy pork ribs and beans was out of this world delicious and the fact that its served in just about all restaurants and on the streets shows you just how good it is. The beauty of this dish is that you can replace the pork for either beef, seafood guisado or cubed cheese like queso fresco or Panela (my favorite). Many enjoy this dish with tortillas, tostada chips or alone, either way it is amazing. You can use your favorite peppers and amounts and make it your own. i hope you give this recipe a try. ❤️
Cubed Panela cheese can be added once you remove the pot from the heat, giving it a quick couple of minutes to melt some. The combination of cheese and pork will be delicious. ❤️
INGREDIENTS----------------------
1 lb. pork ribs (I used baby back)
1 lb. Country style boneless ribs (cubes)
Salt as needed
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
1/4 Onion julienned
Water to cover
RED SAUCE INGREDIENTS-----------------
4 Large Roma Tomatoes
1 Serrano pepper
2 Large garlic cloves
5 Chile arbol (optional or as needed)
1/4Small Onion
1 Tbsp Chicken Bouillon
1 tsp Mexican oregano
1/2 tsp ground Cumin
1 C. Water
White Steamed Rice -----------------------
2 C. Jasmine rice ( rinsed )
4 C. Water
1 tsp Salt or as needed
Juice of half a lemon

I hear you… about thinning hair. About a year and a half ago, my hair started falling out. It was very short back when Covid started and I said I was not going to cut my hair until Covid went away! Little did we know, huh‽ as much as I looked on KZbin for remedies cures solutions, etc. I didn’t look for the reasons it can happen, so when I went to my doctor and she told me that it was a symptom of long Covid (and I had had Covid earlier that year), I was shocked. And there’s something about hair growing in three cycles or something so it finally stopped, but then months later, started up again. So I guess whatever hit ME, affected the first cycle and the third cycle but not the second. Confusing, right? Whatever, I was tired of feeling like a bug had landed on my arm, just to look down and see another hair had fallen out, so I got that haircut. It was a good excuse, since Covid may never find its way off the planet. There are vitamins, targeted specifically for hair loss, so you might want to look into that (Amazon). As you work on bettering your health, your hair will probably grow back. I know I have some wispy hairs that indicate regrowth. Best of luck to you and good health, in HIS name. Maranatha!😊

aaahh yes, the famous morisqueta. My husband is from Michoacan (I think thats where this dish is originally from) and they eat this OFTEN a few days after we moved in together I made the same pork meat in chile and white rice on the side (I flavored it with chicken bouillon) and he says to me " YES !!!!!!! Im gonna plate mine like morisqueta!!!!" I said like moriWHO?😂 ever since we have been eating it this way❤😅
