My brother’s girlfriend (24) sent a text to me, my mom, my sister, and him (left out my dad because she knew what he would say aka he doesn’t really like her nor do I) asking us to sign the petition to fire him. I replied “No I will not sign the petition. I personally feel like he said nothing wrong and degrading. His speech was to a Catholic private college audience that is pretty conservative. Also someone should not get fired because of what they say when voicing their opinion on topics. We all have freedom of speech and he was using his given right. Unless Amala think Harrison Butker got married and knocked up Isabelle in the 8th grade, then no, her life did not begin when she met him. It began when she had her first child. Also this was on MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND, so his praises for motherhood were definitely timed right. I still don’t understand what the fuss is about. I wish someone would let me know what was so controversial. He was talking to a conservative Catholic university graduating student body meaning that most women were probably more excited about a family than climbing the corporate ladder. Note he never said all and he never said that they should not start a career. He specifically talked about titles and promotions. Second he never mentioned what the diabolical lies were. If I had to hazard a guess it is that climbing the corporate ladder is the only way a woman can be fulfilled. Hell we have childless couples wanting to ban children from restaurants and acting like it's the parents that are intolerant of their choice to be child free. It's gotten so bad that several countries and populations are in population collapse involuntarily because these women realize too late that having children is a superior goal in life than being rich. These women are told lies that they can always adopt or freeze their eggs when all of these things so often fail because they waited too long and they never feel "ready." It's a lie. Women are never ready for children. But we are ready to consent to sex when we do consent to sex and that is as ready as a woman will ever be to become a mother and that's all a woman needs to become a mother. If these facts of nature, coming from me, an atheist, are in your face, then I'll happily be in everyone's face about the biological reality that women are evolved to conceive, gestate, birth and raise our young to maturity and as biological beings we are wired to pass our genes on to the next generation. Not our sisters, not our cousins, OUR GENES. We each are evolved to reproduce as individuals. We are each wired to produce our own offspring. The only exception is the faulty wiring found in the LGBT community. Found in dozens of animal species but never the norm due to the lack of reproduction. Of course those who choose to be childless should have equal human rights, but we shouldn't deny reality to protect their feelings. It's a female biological reality that we are meant to have children. It is literally the point of our reproductive organs to reproduce. Our brains have evolved specifically around this reality so of course the females of our species will be happier, healthier and better off if they can fulfil their biological purpose. It's like seeing a mother doe in the woods and contemplating if she actually WANTED the fawn that is suckling on her teet. Of fucking course she does. She is a doe. Does are meant to have fawns. There is no doe feminism where does gather together and aggressively block bucks from their herds because they are strong independent does who survive well enough in the wild and don't need no buck. Because THAT IS NOT HOW MAMMALS WORK. It is only human women who have become so delusional and bigoted that they deny the base essence of what makes us women: Our capacity to have children. It's why a trans woman can never be a real woman, it's why women's health is about our reproductive tract, its why women need to be protected and kept from harm including the harms of men. Because we bear children. Because we can be pregnant. Because it is our purpose in life to become mothers. Yasuke did exist and was a slave to Nobuga and what is know is that he became his bodyguard because he was favoured by Nobuga, but when he passed away he became no one, this is all that is known. So, there is no evidence that Yasuke was a samurai or even a warrior, what is know for sure is that he acted like a page for Nobunaga. Now, about Nobunaga, he was not a well liked guy in his time, he was called the Fool from Owari (the province he ruled) and after setting in motion the idea and process of a great unification of Japan he was betrayed by his allies and a number of his underlings, basically thrown away and killed. He started being widely celebratated as a great personality closer to our days than to his own.
