Fiat 500 - 3,57m Renault Modus - 3,79m - 5 door, 5 seater miniMPV. 5 stars EuroNCAP . Sliding rear seats for three or two passengers ( with two passenger mode, seats can be pushed deeper into cargo space ) . That's what I call a really well-built space in small car :)

👍I used to have the FIAT PANDA - which is actually the more serious version of the 500 - or ithe 500 can be seen as the more posh coupé of the Panda, as this one was released before the 500. But I do agree - It fulfills 97% of the need, even with a wife an two kids in the back. For the remaining 3% we just had a second Panda and we took both Pandas when needed -

I bought a 13 plate 1.2 Lounge last November while I started sprucing up my SLK350. I find no fault in the little FIAT. It's taken me to Scotland from the Midlands without feeling strained or making me feel strained. I'm getting 51 mpg on the commute and I'm 6ft and broad at the shoulders but don't feel claustrophobic in it. In the context of a shopping trolley, which is what it is, it doesn't feel underpowered. Grip is good. Handling and balance not so good as you'd expect for a city car. Brakes are adequate but could do with more bite. Really happy with it.

I own a 2012 Fiat 500 sport that I purchased as a used car in 2017 and I absolutely love this car, for short trips or 3000 mile road trips I have found it to be comfortable and reliable car. The perfect antidote to StupidlyUngainlyVehicles !! I loved my 500 1.2 Lounge. It handled brilliantly, was very econical (50 mpg), takes up very little space, and has much more space than most think. Most of all it is very stylish, curves rather than lumps and bumps of most of the current fashion for vehicles which take up so much unnecessary space, whether in parking spaces, lock-up garages - or on roads, making them smaller everywhere you go !!!

Sad to see that 3-doors are being phased out by many manufacturers, if they even build their small car any more (looking at you Ford). I've always said that I would buy a 3-door Mk6 Fiesta if I needed a runaround hatchback, that still hasn't changed. As I don't, I'd rather have a small sports car like my MX-5 or the Smart Roadster I used to have.

Come on, is this a paid add, to try to bump up the sales for an almost 15y old model? 500 is conically badly packaged compared to for example twingo mk2 which has more rear headroom, amazing sliding rear seats and even a folding front seat in some models. 500 has no headroom for passengers above 170cm, which is quite lame. It is all about design, and in that department it's great, but packaging wonder...not realy.

I am actually in the market for a car that will literally only be used for work and needs good gas mileage and low running costs. A to b trip with basically no cargo. I would never get this thing. First off its a Fiat. Its European. Not known for the best quality and reliability. I could have sworn I saw this in a list of top 10 cars most likely to kill you. I dont think you would survive a Camry let alone a F-150 hitting you. The image. This is a car for girls and old people here in the states. Ill admit I would be so embarrassed to drive one of these and be seen in it. I remember one time a teacher in school told me I look like I would drove a Fiat or Mini. (Greatest burn of my life so far) Call it fragile masculinity I don't care. Its not a car most men would want to be seen in like the 2nd gen Beetle. They just are not cool cars in my part of the world. A Corolla or Civic seems the way to go. Heck, I might even buy a Honda Fit. But I wouldnt be caught dead in a Fiat.
