It was a really fun little car, and with some creative packing, could fit my entire drum set in the back, leaving the passenger seat open. I wish they added DC charging and more range over the years, but they didn't seem interested. Ended up replacing it with an i3, and then a Model 3 after that. This looks like a perfect successor. Most probably FIAT500e will compete in city car ICE segment together with Honda E as John stated while VW is competing in its own bigger category. No new EV is going to steal sales from each other but rather from ICE versions. That is great since, let's face it, the choice range in EV is far less than in ICE world for now so the more EV choices the better. And by the way, despite drone views for this car made in California for its commercials online, the car itself will not be available for sale in North America unfortunately. Jonny, the quality of your videos just keeps getting better. The style of presenting is bang on - won't be long before the subs hit the millions...it's coming. Thanks for the content.

Can we all just be thankful that Jonny decided to go out on his own to explore his creative side? I feel like the quality of the videos (which already are good) are improving with each video. Excuse the love letter , I'm just grateful for the content .

Another great video Jonny, thank you. Stumbled across your channel a couple of weeks back and what a treat it's been, takes me back to the early days of Fifth Gear...but with electricity. Professional, informative and entertaining. A lot of your fellow 'youtubers' would do well to watch and learn. Keep up the awesome work.

I’m only 2 minutes into this video and I just have to say that I appreciate the production and thoughts that you included in this video. The history, comparison, specs and tour of the Fiat are spectacular. By far the greatest 500e video.

You caught the surfacing and reflections beautifully in the low sun 👍. They've really got the colour right, though I'd like the Armani paint job too!

Another nice Vlog with great camera work, imagery, and sound/music👍! Love your honest reviews pointing out all the good and bad, and even what other cars are better choices, have better options, and prices! Love the looks of the 500e and the slightly larger dimensions and wheels (actually not a bad look for you as well with your outfit). Cool little touch with the way they integrated the "e" inside the 0 of the 500. Nice interior, the center display didn't look like some slapped on iPad like some other vehicles, and the built in wireless phone chargers are nice. Sounded like it had a really nice quite interior, good soundproofing, and the motor didn't sound whiny or droning inside the cab while you were talking or as it was driving by on the exterior shots. Only 4 things I could pick out that i didn't like were, 1: The musical start/stop is a cute touch that could be fun to show off, but I imagine after hearing it dozens and dozens of times it could get annoying. 2: I wish the roof would tuck down further for better rear visibility. 3: Don't like the location of the switches in the center console because they seem like they could be accidentally hit easily. 4: Really don't like the electric door releases. If you have an electrical problem, how do you open the door? Break a window to get out? I prefer a hard connection with a normal cable latch, because even if the handle or cable broke both doors wouldn't be broken at the same time, the way electrically operated doors could be, and you could climb across to use the other door. When every single thing is electrically operated on an electric car it starts to seem gimmicky and unnecessary, and just an extra power drain on the battery (even if it's just a tiny fraction of power that it uses). Ditch power door handles, get rid of touch screen digital controls for the radio (leave the connections on the steering wheel for safety, not having to move your hands and eyes), leave the climate controls as dials and switches or levers, and no power operated steering column adjustments that add heavy motors. That all being said it's still a really nice car that I would buy....but probably look for someone to modify the doors to some standard Fiat door handles!

To see you on the verge on 200k, putting out cracking videos and that you are loving doing it, is an incredible achievement Jonny! Looking forward to seeing everything you do next!

I don't know who filmed this for you but I have to say that was a superb piece of work. Being fairly local it was strange seeing a review set in Digbeth but it was excellent. The car look great too.
