​@@ocreyy No, that was definitely the controller this time. I've had the same experience as Poof, what happened was he likely already threw or hit the remote once before so it threw off the turning. When you try to turn with a slightly broken remote it will buffer the direction or try to swerve the other way. And yes, I too tore my Wii remote apart in rage when it happened too many times. I haven't broken nearly as many as Poof but I have thrown them a few times and I'm shocked most of them held out so well.

No chance he gets 3 stars. The requirements for that on Mkwii are extremely demanding. Unlike future games, it’s not enough to just get first place all 4 races. Falling off the course, hitting walls, and hitting moving obstacles all count against you, even if you finish in first! I would know because just this week I went through the struggle of getting three stars in every cup, in every CC, because I wanted 3 stars next to my name when I play online 😂. For reference, my VR is in the 9000s and even I didn’t get first try 3 stars in a couple cups.

Hey poof! If you wanna try getting a 1 star+ on every cup, i recommend you try to get more mini turbos each turn and wheelie more. This makes you go alot faster and it should help you alot to get star rankings on each cup. Doing a wheelie does make you go faster btw (shake your remote when the pow is about to get you, this way you “dodge” the pow)
