This show helped me get through the early deaths of my Mom and Dad that happened a year apart. The Nine Club Experience was literally one of the ingredients in the makeshift glue that held my ass together through some of the darkest times. You guys deserved more for what you did...out here saving lives and spreading vibes! Thank you

Man, y’all are breaking my heart. At 49 most of my friends are scattered around the country and/or busy with life and it’s hard to link up. With the experience, I felt like I was hanging with the homies every week and it’s meant so much. I enjoy the interview show also, but if one has to go, I’d way rather see the experience live on in either live or edited version
@mjheiting6168

I would love for them to even alternate weekly between interview and experience if it helps with the burnout and mental health.. it’s wild but slowly over time the experience became better content than the interviews imo because of the crews chemistry

A couple of years ago I was going through heavy depression, and finding you guys, just talking about skateboarding changed my life for the best, while watching you I felt like I was again hanging up with my friends skating until late in the evening, somehow I feel like I am there with you guys smiling and having fun, thanks for everything you guys did. What this channel did for skateboarding is bigger than what you guys might think, seeing professional skaters as nice relatable people that could be your friends, rather than only seeing them in skate videos has been a nice experience. Thanks!

Agreed, you can feel it in everyone’s voice that this is something special that shouldn’t end yet.. I’m sure many ol buddies would like if they alternated between experience and interviews weekly, or even experience once per month or something, anything to keep this crew together 🥲

I totally agree. That said, can you imagine the amount of time this show takes to put together? How much skate content comes out every single week that they have to be aware of, how many schedules have to be lined up at the same time, how much time the episode editing takes, etc. It's definitely understandable.

Thank you guys for bringing skateboarding back into my life after 15 years. Brought back something i didn’t know how bad i was missing. watching the experience show was like hanging with a bunch of my actual favorite skaters from my era who had suddenly become my homies. I’m going to miss this experience a lot but wish you all the best possible success in the future. Peace.

Similar experience for me too, I stopped skating around 2000. The nine club brought me back into this world about 5 years ago and has made me feel like I’m part of a tight community, even though I don’t skate anymore.

There have been so many times when I’ve been down in the dumps for whatever reason, lockdowns and illness that this show has picked me up, what you have built here is an example and a testament to what a KZbin community can be full of positivity, truly skaters supporting skaters. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end. Much love for whatever comes next from Birmingham UK ❤❤

As a man in his mid thirties, I don’t find as much time as I’d like to do the thing that I love. Skateboarding has brought me more friendships and joy than anything else I’ve ever been a part of. This show made me feel as though I was still a part of the community, even though I only step on my board, and actually skate very little these days. This show has been a constant in my world for the last five years, and has gotten me through so much. It’s been a something I can look forward too every week, even when times are tough. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you guys did and continue to do. I can’t say I’m happy to see the show go, but I’m stoked to see what’s next. Much love to all of you.

A sad day in Skateboarding…. Skate culture and current events will surely go unnoticed and unexplained to the masses just like before the experience existed. The world of skateboarding will once again have a huge disconnect with those that are not directly connected to the industry. This podcast was the only thing that bridged that gap. It will be forever missed. ❤❤❤❤❤

I'm on the same page as Jeron. Bitter bitter, but can I just say how much I appreciate each one of you and the show as a whole. I grew up skating, and after being away from skating for 15 years this show reignited my love for skateboarding after I stumbled upon it. It's hard to describe but watching the show gave me the same feeling I used to get skating all day and watching 411's with the homies afterwards. You've done such a great service to skateboarding and I hope I get to meet all of you in some point. Huge love from Sydney.

Thanks to all of you guys for everything you've done making this show happen for this long, there isn't a replacement for it in skateboarding so it will definitely leave a hole there for me in my week, and I'm sure for many others too, but life must go on. Dear Chris, Roger & the whole nineclub.. I'm 11 months sober after 20 years of drinking and losing myself and almost losing my son... This show has undoubtedly been one of the most influential reasons I've maintained my sobriety.. Honestly, without this show I could have gone back to my old ways.. and most likely ended up dead.. You have no idea just how much of a positive impact you've had on so many people's lives... When the day or week has been tough and I thought of giving up on life, I've put the show on or binged old episodes and it has truly inspired me to be a good man again. You are all really great human beings and should all give yourselves the credit deserved.. You will have saved so many people without even realising it.. Skateboarders are deep people, and I speak for other like minded people when I say this, we live in an unfathomable world where sometimes it doesn't seem worth getting up for... BUT YOU GUYS MAKE IT WORTHWHILE, you'll never know. I will miss this so much. I love you all. Stu. Oxford UK

This episode go me in the feels. I was feeling it from when I first saw the announcement on Instagram and went straight to the Discord. I didn't want it to end. I was laughing, reflecting, and reminiscing along with all of you. I kept it all pretty well together until Steezus and Jeron were being real with their disappointment, but seeing Eldy get a bit emotional at the end and Jeron grabbing his shoulder is what did me in. Man, that's the real stuff. Mahalo from the bottom of my heart. I hope to see some experience specials in the future and you guys with some more videos of you tearing up the curbs in Venice.

I'm 45 years old, haven't skated in what feels like a century (and wasn't good by any stretch). Grew up in bum f**k no-where here in NZ with little access to mags or videos back in the day, but here I am, watching five amazing individuals just shoot the shit. Wish I found you all when you started this thing, wish I found you all when you were releasing material (although youtube's helped me catch up on that stuff!) but glad I found you at all. Keep doing your thing(s) and I'll (we all) will keep watching. Much love.

Man as i keep watching i keep getting more emotional. This was a huge part for me getting into skating…deep into skating. I was scared to go into the skate shop and listening to this gave me i guess something to go into the shop and have something to talk about weather it be a part or a joke but yah. You guys helped me grow and i hope to see you guys together this is a special group of people. Each one of you has something different to offer. And walking to the train today i stickeed up some things with nine club stickers love you

I'm probably a rarity given that at no point in my life have I skated but followed skateboarding on and off through the years. Thank you for all the segments, video clips, humor, special guests and so much more. I learned a little more about skateboarding and all of you every show. Skateboarders have always served as a reminder to me about resiliency and not giving up. You're an inspiring, creative bunch and I appreciate that. The past few years have been hard, but skateboarding has been there for me - you've been there for me. Thank you, Chris, Roger, Jeron, Eldy, Steezus, Kelly, JC, and Tim and the community here for making room for a non-skater to join in on the fun. I look forward to the next adventure with you.

Seems crazy to end it when you have 3600 people watching the live and upward momentum. I thought you guys would all make careers out of this show. The banter in this format was unmatched, and so much different than the interviews that don't give much room for that.

I don't know what lead to this decision, but it bums me out. I would far rather watch a group of friends hanging out, joking, and commentating over new skate content than watch the interviews. I love the nine club--don't get me wrong. But I genuinely hope the channel still has a future venue for reviewing skate videos and having off-the-cuff discussions, because it was the only thing that kept me coming back over the years...
