For me I keep TAAU on Low because it's ever so slightly clearer than Epic and they both deliver good results regardless, the game is pretty blurry so anything that helps even a little is a must for me. Then for reflections I prefer using cubemaps because SSR is so noisy + keeps popping in and out anyways, I'd rather have worse but static reflections that don't generate ugly noise. Good video though! You showed the examples well.

On all low settings my 5700X3D and 3080 get 90-110 when things get hectic which feels oddly low. Is that oddly low? Why would that be the case? 1440p DLSS Quality btw. Get 60% gpu usage. I’ve seen ppl with lower spec get higher fps. I don’t have a thermal throttle so Idk what’s causing it. Someone pls help I just bought a 5700X3D because I saw such low GPU usage with my last cpu too. Seems to do 30 fps better than my 5600X in most games though just not this one.

Biggest thing for this game that I realized with my friends trying to play with them while I'm on the 40 series and they're still on their 10 series cards is that it needs to be on a SSD if it's not a nasty you're going to get insane frame times and average FPS's , a friend who had a 1060 and the game on an SST you was getting 80 plus FPS with everything on low but a 1070 with it on a regular hard drive was getting 20 to 43 FPS on the same settings both 1080p

Bro that's a 9.09% difference in frames, that's pretty damn stable. What kind of CPU do you have? I'm running a 11700k and a 3070 with shit ass 8gb of vram getting 140-150 fps. Seems like you've got some shit to fix in your nvidia and windows settings, or your being CPU throttled somehow. The Finals is very CPU dependant.

3:31 Ah so only people on low settings get tortured with blinding bright light in this game. That's what it looks for me if I'm inside a darker building and look outside. I often see only white and no details like you see in the vid on the left. Thought the game does that to everyone though. Mad unfair. Pay to win actually. lol

DLAA has more clarity and I use it for that reason, but it has insane ghosting, even worse than with TAA. Another entry to the list of competetive games with forced anti-aliasing :/

No, in fact, DLSS Super Resolution (upscaler) can improve input lag due to the increased performance compared to native resolution. Frame Generation is the one that have an impact on input delay, which is why it's not recommended to activate it in competitive online games.
